The Audio Affect Series, a music production workshop created to amplify and empower Black and Brown creators of South LA, is a collaboration between TEC Leimert, Serato and Undefeated.

I love dance music and I'm a fan of industrial sounds. I was able to find different sounds and elements in the Serato Packs which inspired me to create contrasting textures through music. So my beat is light, dark, heavy, airy, soft, sharp, and fun.

“Autumn Leaves” was made from a beat that I originally created at the Audio Affects workshop and later decided to remake. I wanted it to sound like leaves falling and seasons changing. Calm but impactful. Simple but effective.

Autumn Leaves

The beat really embodies me in my rawest form learning a new DAW and my approach sonically. It has ingredients of hip hop, jazz (with the horns) and 90s R&B feel and tempo which showcase all my influences.
