Bob Mann and I wrote this song for a marketing campaign for the city of Los Angeles that never got off the ground.  Mike Finnigan absolutely killed the vocal...and Andrea Robinson and I sang BGs. Andy Waterman engineered. The incredible Carlos Vega was on drums and Neil Stubenhaus played bass. RIP Mike.

Come Alive In L.A.

Bob Mann and I wrote this when AIDS was ravaging the creative community and after yet another memorial celebrating a brilliant friend's life.  The song is about lifelong connections...friendship and love.  Leslie Smith gave life to the song, along with Bob's wonderful arrangement and playing.

Written with Barry Manilow in the late '80s.  At that time he changed his recording style to soft jazz...Paradise Cafe.  I recorded it on my 4-track cassette setup in my home studio. It might sound small, but I'm kind of impressed with my mixing skills considering:)

A Seed

Written with the great Patrick Williams. Michael Dees is singing and swinging this Frank Sinatra-like tune impeccably. Pat is playing everything. We edited the instrumental out. Hence the noticeable mid-song edit.
