More than festival. That’s Sacred Gathering.

 Fifth edition of this special reunion was real celebration of life. Six days full of music and dance, magic and miracles, love and connections literally co-created heaven on Earth. 

This Ecstatic Dance was really special for me. Sacred Gathering was the first ‚festival of this kind‘ which I experienced. The idea to change the course of my DJ life came to me just few years ago right there. So it was kind a homecoming, something as closing the circle. 

After workshops such as Biodanza, White Tantra, Contact Impro and so on people were super heart centered. When we opened ceremony with cacao and singing circle, we were ready spread the wings wide, fly on the music wave and co-create incredible festival atmosphere.

What an energetic flight. The music took us high.

The very night before this set, I was asked to fill in for a friend who couldn't come. And as I love his music, I had this night free anyway.
So less than 2 months after my last time there, I came back to my favorite branch of ED Israel, and played one hell of a set: wild, amusing, deep, border-examining.

Ecstatic Hof HaCarmel always feels like my 3rd home.
It's a venue I've had the pleasure of playing many times, not only in Ecstatic.
And every time I come, I feel like the space becomes my own jester, causing me to go even further than I possibly planned.
This set is no different.

I recorded this sound journey with my Native American flute at sunrise in my home in Ibiza, surrounded by nature, birdsong, and the stillness of the early morning.

It was 6am , just before the sun kissed the earth. The sky was painted in soft colors, the air smelled fresh with pine and dew, and the forest around me was waking up slowly. 
These moments — when the world is quiet and our hearts are open — are a portal to deep gratitude and presence .

Waking up early is a sacred practice. Pure inspiration, clarity, and connection to spirit. 
Silence & Peace.

My 1st time in Ecstatic Dance Rehovot was a rather deep and meaningful journey for all sides, so it seems.
For lack of better words, it felt like an ecstatic exorcism performed in a seemignly party mode.

An Ecstatic Dance set I played at a Digital Detox Gathering, aiming and winking at everyone's inner children, with a lot of references to kid's music.

P.S.
The set was played at a geodesic dome with a weird-ass acoustics and no monitor whatsoever, hence some of the mix blunders. Hope you'll enjoy it either way!
