My expectations ended up being meaningless because I was living the unimaginable. This special moment deserved my very best, so a set full of my own unreleased originals is what I played! and off to what will always be remembered as one of the most incredible experiences of my life: My first burn! A crystal like cluster of Lighthouses ranging from 6 to 60 foot tall and some leaning as much as 20 degrees. Inspired by the juxtaposition of creating a destination of fun and shelter by something that is meant to warn you of danger. This adult jungle gym aims to become a destination where participants come to seek shelter, play, meetup with friends and navigate the inland sea that is the Playa. At night the Lighthouses will truly come alive with fire, light, and a few other surprises.

Stone Circles Year 1 Mix

For this third mix of the year, we are honoring an artist we love very much !! 
For this month of March, we played 2 songs from: Lost Desert.

Lost Desert is a very talented and mysterious Belgian artist producer often hiding behind a tribal mask. 
A major artist of the All Day I Dream label, Patrick Bruyndonx(whose real name is) travels the planet to distill a groovy, melodic and sweet deep house. 
His album produced in 2019 with Lee Burridge "Melt" is a marvel by its delicate atmosphere, just like his last productions that we play in this mix: 
- "Half an Hour" with Lee Burridge & Amari (29 min); 
- and "Peter Pan" on his new Souksonic label (114 min). 

Thank you Patrick for all these songs that we do not fail to play in each mix because they really represent the deep that we love !!

Lost Desert in the words of Mr. Burridge:
In a place of solitude sat a man. His studio a sanctuary. Time weathered many a landscape on his journey while his soundscapes were created and practices honed. During his time alone he crafted his sound. As he travelled towards us he always listened very carefully. Absorbing and capturing all the noises and wonderful vibrations around him . He found that music exists in almost everything if you listen closely enough. From grains of sand sweeping against the salt pillars of the White desert to birds returning from the skies above their inner cities. These sounds became textures and details in each musical expression. Now, as they meld in to one, they magically paint pictures behind listeners closed eyes. Lost Desert is a destination full of mystery. Ready to charm those who find their way.
