What an impeccable musical selection! Such an engaging atmosphere, such a beautiful narrative — a true gem. They need to do this more often! I’ve been following Helena Star for a while and I think her art and music are simply spectacular. After listening to this performance, I went to learn more about Louise Chen and completely fell in love with her sound! I was already a fan of Helena, but now Louise has gained a devoted fan too. Please come to São Paulo! Come to Brazil — your music deserves to be heard in every corner of the world. What a brilliant move by GALA to bring these two together. Please, invite them more often and shine a light on these incredible talents!

Under the velvet drapes of the Peacock Club in the Rajasthan desert last December we celebrated 10 years both of Rhythm Section & Magnetic Fields. The whole experience really did feel like a dream, filled with the most wonderful colours, sounds & characters. Thank you to the dancers, the festival & all the folk involved in making this experience one of the most magical I’ve had to date. I hope some of this shines through in the recording.
