There's an immersive and psychedelic quality to Tagliabue's music. Whether it's his DJ sets or his own creations, the Milan-based sound engineer, DJ and producer puts emotion front and centre, drawing inspiration from his natural surroundings — in this case, his home of Italy.

As a leading figure in the alternative music scene in the country, his interests lie in musical research which helps him authentically craft secular-leaning sonics that honour tradition whilst looking firmly to the future. Blending elements of folk, ambient and trance through the use of experimental and contemporary electronic techniques, he blurs the boundaries of genre, which can be heard via releases for Blue Sea, Lustpoderosa and Cosmica Music.

Ahead of his debut album, as Joseph Tagliabue, and his first mini-album, he treats us to a mix of mystical, organic sounds, which features several of his own forthcoming productions. Turn off and tune in...

[EN] Hkkptr is a project based in Leipzig. His musical roots are coming from Black and Death Metal.
He got in touch with electronic music through Gabber wich built the basement for his passion towards harder industrial sounds.
Hkkptr always try to capture an industrial soundscape with hints of a dark, hypnotic drive. When getting in touch with Modular Mind he quickly knew that they share equal interests and the drive to release different electronic music.
After a short time Hkkptr released his debut EP (VVV trilogy) with Modular Mind and the 2nd EP will be finished soon. He is working closely together with Modvs, Ambre and Unn aswell - this will lead to collaboration-traks soon.

Jego przygoda z muzyką elektroniczną rozpoczęła się od Gabberu, który zbudował fundamenty jego pasji do ciężkich, industrialnych brzmień. Zawsze stara się uchwycić industrialne muzyczne tekstury z ciemnymi, hipnotycznymi dźwiękami. Operating in Saint-Étienne, France, the DJ and producer Jacques Satre has been an eminent local player within a communal, energetic scene; his recent releases of kaleidoscopic dancefloor tunes on Worst Records, Metaphore Industrie and Vernacular Records have unveiled his talent of producing fantastic music, broadcasting his name out to an increasingly wider audience. The tracks of Jacques Satre display a great deal of lush, varied instrumentation, bright synth arrangements and uplifting club-ready rhythms – all this is also evident in his dynamic DJ sets which, if not for a global pandemic, would be more and more frequent across French venues and abroad.

Starting off February we have Italo Moderni label-head Adrian Marth. The Barcelona-based DJ and producer's style is a fresh take on italo- and space-disco of the 80's, EBM, and electro. This is exemplified in the diverse set of artists that make up Italo Moderni Vol. 1 and subsequent Vol. 2 VA's that include Sophie du Palais, The Brvtalist, Marcelo Giordani, Kid Machine, Antoni Maiovvi, Juanpablo, as well as productions of his own. His contribution to the GF series is no exception, gradually building up from synthy EBM and italo cuts to banging electro and Dutch west coast tracks. Lock in!
