The magic atmosphere lingering over Lithuanian forests was the fertile ground for a fairytale tradition that was passed on for generations. Gediminas Jakubka, alias Patricia Kokett, was one of the kids that took in the mysticism and ethereal transcendence from myths and stories. He is now passing them onto our generation with synth black magic. 

He captures the meeting point between magic and his unique music taste in this sinuous mix. 

We shared some words with Kokett: on transcendence in the clubbing context, his Thai inspiration for Bizarr and breaking with gender roles. Be sure to check it out.

He runs the acclaimed The Black Lodge in LA , a label and "global conspiracy" aimed at continued disruption that has quietly been bringing out some of the best music out there including the label head himself, R. Gamble, Elena Sizova, Daniel Holt, Sam de la Rosa, Sons of Traders, and many others. As a DJ, he is a selector to the core with roots in the early 90’s midwest electronic rave scene in Ohio, somewhere between Detroit and Chicago. From '99 until 2001, he co-founded the infamous Foundation Team/Trü Skül underground parties in NYC which focused primarily on bringing out artists from the Midwest. His vinyl-only selection is old and new gems from start to finish which opens with a powerful and important speech by the legendary Last Poets from Harlem, one with an important message.
