It's another surprise drop of the Galactic Funk Live series where we invite live acts, bands, musicians and the likes to share their work in a freeform style. 

For this release, we are so pleased to welcome a diamond in the Dutch music scene: Karel. Influenced by bands like Level 42, New Order and Duran Duran, he kicked-off Job Jobse's De Vlieger label with a great collection of short songs described by the label-owner as "synthwave songs that are low on fidelity, but high on feeling". 

His live performances are packed with raw energy as he stole the show at Down The Rabbit Hole festival in 2018 and received coveted recognition from 3voor12 alongside acts like Nick Cave and David Byrne. 

This podcast is a combination of Karel's old work, new tracks from an upcoming album, and short demo's either produced alone or with friends. We hope you enjoy!
