We are very exited to have our second show in the Womxn series @ Operator.


Earlier this year we organized a stream for womxn’s day. The atmosphere was truly amazing; we danced, connected, learnt, listened and of course played a wide variety of music.
We thought events like this should be recurrent and not only once a year. This is why we decided to organise a series of streams, club nights (fingers crossed for this one) workshops, and talks in order to unite and inspire womxn in the music scene.

We are proud to welcome @Loradeniz as a new member of the Galactic Funk family. Expect to see much more of her through our channels.

Loradeniz is a young music artist with an authentic heart and a true raver’s spirit. Being raised under the exposure of various genres from classical western, Turkish arabesque, to r&b and pop at home as a child. She started exploring her talents with making, practising and studying music whilst her peers were playing games.
Hailing from Istanbul, Loradeniz started to look for her own sound when she settled In Amsterdam after finishing her masters in music design. Being a long time music digger and having a background in various genres she separates herself from many other young DJ’s. With her attendance of the 2018 Red Bull Music Academy, her first time playing records at Dekmantel Radio, followed by Sónar İstanbul proves that this talented woman is someone to keep an eye on.

  For the next artist of our September roster, we stay in Amsterdam for this Aruban DJ regularly seen with shows at Operator, (previously) Red Light & a residency at Galactic Funk. He has shared the stage with Dopplereffekt, Alessandro Adriani, Black Merlin, and others. The man describes his sound as his Caribbean take on hard electronic music with breaks, electronics, electro & flashes of EBM intertwining for a brilliant journey of the senses.
