Got is one to almost an finished state around the very start of the year, but then it got put on the back burner due to work stuff and just not feeling all that musiccy at the time... Decided to dig it out now and add some manner of start and ending, call it done and move on to new stuff.

As you might be able to tell, it's supposed to loop around into the main part where it ends; I seem to be making a lot of loopy, game-osty stuff recently, and this is no exception. Maybe it'll even be featured in a game one day, who knows.

Haven't made a finished song in AGES, and I felt an inspiration, so I built this on top of an older track. At this point I'm not sure if some of these samples I use a lot are a constraint or a trademark...

Byteriders

I wanted to try something a bit different. I also wanted to be overly fancy, so a LOT of the wobblies and the wibblies are done with unnecessarily elaborate parameter automation.

As usual, this track reached a point where I figured that I'd just keep fucking with little things and making it worse and worse until I decide to just never release the pile of shit, so I figured I'd stop and throw it out there. Maybe somebody gets some joy outta it, and I get to call it done, so it's a win-win!

Oh, and I also really like how that image turned out for some reason. I tend to make a track first and then just doodle with it playing on the background, and that's how I get my track images. This one's cheesy as balls but it sorta fits.

I have NO idea about music theory, nor do I have any educational background in music. I'm not the greatest musician, nor do I claim to be; for me, making music is simply a hobby I happen to enjoy a lot. If somebody manages to derive some pleasure, hey, I guess I managed to bring some joy to the world in addition to having fun myself. A bonus!
