Aang got DIRTY with this beat(like gah lee)!!! With an alternating key signatures the melody goes from C Major to Db minor back and forth. The use of a 16th note synth gives the feel of a constant random rhythm, giving it a "slimy" sound(reason for the name). Dynamics are used to transition between the focus and different sections of the beat, along with different ranges of notes. The beat itself also has two sections, one basic section with an 16th note hi-hat run with accent play backed up with a 1+4 kick with a clap on the 3. The second section has a more complex kick with triplet kicks, allowing for a more filling beat used in areas with low focus melodies. If you read this far, consider contacting me with a collab!!!
