Hey there all, while we’ve been hold up in the studio continuing to produce Vol 1. Our upcoming full length album. Me and my sisters had some thoughts on people “selling out” for certain ideals while we were waiting for Renn to finish editing our latest track. The saddest thing about selling out is just how cheaply some of us do it will eventually do it right?

The first argument Mai & Aki had was that selling out undermines the authenticity of the music. When artists compromise their values or principles for commercial success, they risk diluting the message of their music.

The second argument Nao & Aki had against selling out is that it can lead to a decline in the quality of the music. When artists prioritize commercial success over artistic integrity, they may be tempted to produce music that is formulaic and generic right? 

On the other hand, Renn stepped in after finishing the track and said that some individuals argue that selling out is a necessary evil in a capitalist society. In a world where success is often measured by financial gain, artists may feel pressured to compromise their values in order to achieve commercial success.

So 

Where do you guys stand on the idea of SELLING OUT? 🙄🫣🫠😵‍💫
