My track 'Agua Magica' is part of the beautiful compilation called 'Mondo Organico' out now on eco vinyl via Invisible Inc.

Everything from the sleeve and vinyl to the inks themselves are recycled, in an attempt to address some of the environmental issues we face today, albeit fractionally.

Expect ambient, aquamarine synths and slow hypnotic stuff.

The Dead Mauriacs - Beauté des Mirages (LP preview)

Spanning the mid-1970s to the mid-90s, this cassette shows the breadth of approaches to ambient and environmental music in Australia. The artists here are not burdened by the "New Age" tag like their more commercial contemporaries, instead we see a range of highly personal sounds, from the kosmiche soundscapes of a german ex-pat rocker to the fairlight rainforest of a cult film composer. It's worth noting how much of this music is shaped by the unique ecology of Australia - acoustic and physical spaces captured through field recordings that dot these records, and mirrored with both electronic and acoustic instruments - and the folk traditions of our neighbours from the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea and Thailand. Drawing threads between these composers, this tape captures half an hour of an uniquely Australian take environmental music.
