What Is Love (Kiesza cover)

Time re-signifies certain emotions, changes and people. I picked this song from under the rug, watched it in a different light and saw everything more clearly. Played a little with it and hope to keep working on it.

“Galetheia” is an experimental music project lead by Teodora Bârla (music, lyrics, concept, artwork and vocals), an artist from Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The main goal was to bring to life some ideas within various forms of art, mainly through music. She is currently collaborating with singer, guitarist, composer and producer Dorin Panduru (Vespera, Masterpiece, K.I.L. etc.) and producer Tibor Bazso (Alias Music, Sheeva Band) for mixing and other musical arrangements. Both are also vocally included the project, along with singer Andrea Kovacs (Sheeva Band), featuring tracks such as “Midnight Driver”, “Borderline” and “Spare me the Heartbeat”. The Galetheia team also includes Andrada Popan-Dorca (video), Sergiu Negrean (video, photography), and Gabor Fetyko (artwork). 
Teodora has been the lead vocalist and lyricist of the Transylvanian modern metal band Vespera from 2005 to 2011. She also experienced various musical projects, such as the performance arts group “Mario Dance Atelier” (lead singer in the “Passion” performance, 2011) the Latino styled project “Amerika Central Meets Romania” (2011), and the French styled piano bar project “Soirée”, along with pianist Liviu Sorescu (2010 – present) – and many other musical collaborations. Teodora is currently studying the processes of the making of Romanian mainstream musical artists while preparing to receive her Phd. in Sociology (of Music), at Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca. She is also a vocal coach and assistant manager at Art’sCool, an alternative school of music created by Cluj-Napoca singer, composer, manager and music teacher Aminda. 
Galetheia focuses mainly on communicating through music on a world wide scale, also promoting various types of art (graphic design, photography, film, dance, etc.). The concept represents a mix between “Galatea” (creation) and “Aletheia” (disclosure). The lyrical themes vary, but reintegrate de idea of disclosing the past, facing personal demons in all their forms, and art itself, as a demon also, but as a savior, as a product, as a way of being.
