Yuhhh staying up like an illegal (doing so when i shouldn't) because it just occurred to me that I could use my VCV/CV VC English UTAU method for small bits of this song (which i don't really use English much because I don't have many English songs I want to cover)

So I recorded a few more English strings for this song and the results are kinda cool, but it might seem out of place with the rest of the song/voicebank, so I'm posting here for second opinions. The second half of the song part was left unedited so you can compare.

[Tries to hop quickly on a bandwagon while it's still new/fresh, at least once in my UTAU lifetime] I rly like niki's hard electro-rock style

This uses the B2-G3-D4 config I tested for FIRST (except I interwove the prefix map with G3-B2-G3-B2 to check transitions between the pitches up to D4), it is a configuration that gives Galvan a solid tone with substantial power and still mostly sounds like Galvan..

EDIT: Sorry, this is a re-upload, if you caught it before, the mix was too tinny overall - I have globally adjusted that now! It might still be a bit icky in places but, small tweak, small tweaks till the final YT upload. 

Feel free to critique/give feedback, I'll probably be still down for modifying stuff up until I get all the pics for the video so yeah, but otherwise this is everyone's part!!!!!! (harmonies are still welcome for submission too , if you feel like.)

Please just keep in mind it is a huge challenge to mix everyone uniformly due to everyone's vastly different mic types and voice types, and there will be a few outliers no matter how hard I try to mix, etc etc. yes.

UTAU english experiment 5 / Define me

this is just short testing with the new monopitch (will become multipitch later) voicebank i recorded awhile ago for galvan but didnt try till recently. it can handle low and high range comfortably for the most part, and his tone is supposed to emulate my singing better

instead of recording in the fashion of higher pitch -> more power, i am recording strengths levels/enunciation instead, at middle/comfortable ranges - which are adjustable per song, having light usage of the g flag (like +/- 3g for higher/lower range) 

THEORY is a new standalone galvan bank that i wont work on until later.

ye... just a monopitch redo so far. I didn't like the tone in the current/posted THEORY, so I just started over. unfortunately the american accent is far more prevalent here, but I prefer the tone.. i'll tweak the phonemes in time, but I'm feeling this iteration

i'm not very good at making good power banks that sound elegant (?) not the right word, I guess lyrical/noble and not sarcastic, which is kind of a big portion of why i still haven't given caeles a multipitch bank. my voice  naturally sort of overannunciates/overstresses words if I go "power"

but i recorded another power/solid bank attempt that sounded less "denki" because I actually don't want galvan theory's power set to sound like denki... some things still need fixing but, I like the "oh" I guess.

Heat Haze Days - Sansloid

i'm mostly testing this new midtone pitch in connection with the other banks within Galvan THEORY, it is more solid/dark(vivid??) and supported compared to original airy base pitch , so it can handle some songs a bit more powerfully in a subtle manner, i guess.

Progress for this bank is still slow as always because I got no tiiimee to truly iron things out (i'm expecting to have more time around 2017 though), but I might switch to working on Denki again because I've listened to this bank too much when I did work on it..
