Galvarino is a hard rock, Americana power trio that puts out honest rock ‘n roll conceived to bring back that same sense of abandon, no matter who you are, no matter what your station in life. Named after a Mapuche warrior who strapped swords to his arms when the Spanish cut off his hands, the band rides straight through the emaciated deserts of indie rock, past the predictable palm trees of corporate pop, and all the way up to the jagged peaks of Rage Against the Machine, Queens of the Stone Age and the Neil Young. Galvarino is a rugged musical landscape. It will keep slicing away, hacking down layer after layer of bullshit until it finds its way into your brain.
