So, fun fact. I created this song earlier today unbeknownst to the fact that today is Metroid Prime 3's anniversary. Its original intention was to be played on the stage of a Rivals of Aether mod of Dark Samus. So I guess you could say this is an anniversary remix! Yay! Maybe one day I will finally beat this game. If you wonder "why make a remix for a game you've never played?" then I say... uh... IDK... I felt like it.

Now onto the part where I explain things I did. Starting with the drums I decided to rip the "Ouk" sound effect from the Parasite Queen Boss theme. Then I used Timpani, and a Wack sound for a deeper and stronger kick, on top of the basic kick. I used Tambourine and an instrument called Cabasa for the Metroid Prime 2 percussion aesthetic. Next, I added a Choir, because one of the main parts of the original song was the Choir. I eventually had to use 4 different choirs to get the sound I was going for. Then I made a bunch of beeping sounds and distributed them between each headphone for maximum surround sound. I also tried to make the blaring alarm sound in the original song sound a bit nicer and fit smoothly with the song rather than being offbeat. I added the intro from Prime 3 in with strings, and then expanded upon that later, if I hadn't I doubt the song would have been the same. I made a simple bass, which deviated from the original quite a bit. Then at the end, I attempted to recreate the guitar solo from the original, but it didn't go so well, so I made my own guitar midsection to the song.

Ultimately, I'm proud of this song. Please enjoy!
