you've got a bit too much going on during the first drop, and the snare sounds only washed out. try cutting some of the more "noise" frequencies on the snare, like around 5khz i think (use your ears) and boosting the fundemental more (you should be able to see it as a "note" in the spectrogram of your eq)

I would even say it’s good (which I just did)

For about 4 years, I've had a couple of covers for one of my favorite UTSC tracks: Slaughter in the Spotlight. They both became popular however, they always were outdated and I never felt truly satisfied having those two tracks public.

I thought one day to do a final cover of this track to show my improvement. I wanted to do a different take on this song, switching genres here and then to keep the chaotic feel the phase originally had. I wanted to keep it somewhat in the format of the original track made by BenyiC03; that version stuck the most with me. Originally when conceptualizing this track in my head, I wanted to keep the track quieter and ominous like the original track. This idea was swiftly scrapped.

I had fun with this track. I was a bit lazier with things such as a mixing though. I don't think I'll ever want to cover this track again since there's already so many other ones.

Plenty of Heavy Hard Rock Bluesy numbers with ripping leads and thunderous bass lines throughout backed up by rock solid drums, with a bonus track from 2018 Let's Do It.  The Blues Tune is an original from 1982 re-recorded the bass line was originally written by Mr. Charlie Deluca who plays on the original from 1982 with his 1970's Rickenbacker bass guitar.
