Hey, You Still There? is Uitwaaien in full swing — slow, heavy, and unrelenting. The New York hardcore punk/alt-rock outfit channels old-school hardcore energy: pounding four-on-the-floor drums, grinding basslines, and guitars that hit like a wrecking ball.

The vocals and gang shouts carry that unmistakable Uitwaaien signature — raw, loud, and straight from the heart. Lyrically, the track dives into digital disconnection and emotional ghosting, turning late-night silence into a battle cry.

It’s hardcore stripped to the bone: no frills, just grit, sweat, and urgency.

The album One Way marks a slight shift in sound. Less rooted in early ’80s hardcore, it leans into the ferocious groove of the mid-to-late ’80s: think Gang Green, Murphy’s Law, D.R.I.—still raw, still raging, but tighter and more direct than ever.

F-Zero : GP Legend - Illusion

Included in the SNES game F-Zero, Sand Ocean (composed by Yumiko Kanki & Naoto Ishida) is one of my favourite tunes on a cartridge game. Definitely well-worth trying my hand at a re-instrumentation - I really didn't want to change it too much, so it wouldn't have qualified for OCREMIX.org.

Made in 2006 (my version), it uses Strat into TubePre into Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Jazz Bass into Tube Pre, and various synths and beats from FL Studio. The guitar was low-passed quite a bit to give it a rounder tone. The tune is played twice through.
