Probably my most popular cover track. Many of the techniques I used to shape the sound in this song, I still rely on fairly heavily to this day.

Final Fantasy IV - Battle 2

I threw this thing together shortly after the first public beta of famitracker version 0.3.8 was released. Composed and exported in "BETA 3" for your listening pleasure. There are quite a few things I'd do differently, were I to remake this track - but I still think it's fairly solid.

Final Fantasy VII - Those Who Fight Further

This one was actually a request I had filled! Quite a few people asked for this one after hearing "the hard corps" cover I made, so I went through with it. I was actually able to pull it off using only the FDS expansion chip. Of all the covers i've made, I think this one is probably the most accurate - nearly everything else i've made has been modified in some way to better suit the NES hardware, but this one ported over quite nicely.

Contra: Hard Corps - GTR Attack!

I had initially wanted to cover the entire soundtrack for this game - but after completing the intro track and the main table theme, I lost interest in the idea. Not wanting to throw away work I had performed, I decided to stitch the two tracks together, as I had disliked the proper intro for the main table theme to begin with.

This is the second longest cover i've made. Took a lot of work - and I had to make quite a few difficult decisions in how to crush this song down to a mono-mix without destroying it. It came out great, though - and i'm still pretty proud of this. I wouldn't change a thing!

Devil's Crush - Intro / Main Table theme

A cover of the boss music used in the "final battle" stage of Wild Guns. I put this together for Demo Compo 5 on the famitracker forums, and placed 9th out of 24 entrants. Fractions of a point separated entries 5 through 10, and I wasn't too far off from being featured as a demo module, to be published alongside the new version of famitracker. Ah well. There's always next time!

This is a full instrumental facelift for the collaborative track "The Darkness Has Eyes" that I wrote with MKC. He assisted in the composition the first time around, but all of the re-writes and 100% of the work that went into creating this version of the track are all mine.
