Born atop the forgotten ruins of a crumbling city, a new civilization had emerged from the ruin wrought by demonkind upon the landscape that lay beneath them. Lead by their prophets of a new and powerful faith, the people of this civilization had risen up against the demon kings, wielding the magic of their divine allies as weapons with which to exorcise their being once more from the land. This war though hard fought had born fruit, and with the slaying of the final demon the people had rejoiced, celebrating their victories with monumental constructions to mark the beginning of a new and golden era. Foremost of these was the great cathedral that lay at the heart of their new city, built both as a space of worship for the populace and as an eternal ward of imprisonment for the souls of demonkind which could not be slain, forever condemning them to an incorporeal existence under the watchful eye of the divine.

Ages had passed since then, and time had once again ground its steady edge against the minds of the people and upon the stones and timbers that had supported the great city for so long. Ritual had been forgotten, and structures of greater grandeur had been built as the city expanded, relegating it’s once monumental cathedral to neglect. Thus it was that the falling of only a single candle had lit an aged timber in it’s great hall, in so doing weakening the ancient wards that had kept the demonic spirits at bay. Ever vigilant in their ceaseless desire to escape, the demon kings fanned this flame with their focused ire, nurturing it from a single mote into a overwhelming conflagration that tore at the runic chains that had bound them for so long. Before long, the roaring of the flames was augmented by the howls of demonic spirits set free from a millennia of imprisonment, their visages taking form in the fire as manifestations of their burning rage. As the inferno bellowed ever higher, the city cowered in fear, for it was clear that the time of DIVERGENCE had come once more.

EATBRAIN unleashes the full fury of their horde with the fourth installment in their DIVERGENCE compilation series, a gargantuan 26 track compilation filled to the brim with new tracks from EATBRAIN mainstays and newcomers alike. Brought together by their affinities for EATBRAIN’s unrestrained neurofunk sound, the artists within deliver a tour de force of the label’s guiding philosophy with ferocious basslines and terrifying sonic atmospheres alike, delivering a mammoth series of tracks set to inspire the fervor of the label’s horde in the months to come.

The corruption was slow to spread at first, infiltrating the neural tissue of only a single patient after exposure via a contaminated food supply. There it lay largely dormant for some time, merely expanding its network of control over its host’s brain without any external symptoms. Indeed, one could be forgiven for understanding the microorganism's evolutionary coding as a form of cold and calculating malevolence, akin to that of an ambush predator eagerly awaiting the perfect moment to strike. For months it bode its time, gently exerting more and more influence over its host body until it required further hosts to replicate itself further. Then, and only then, did the microorganism command its willing vessel to strike out with a ferocity that had been imbued in its form over these many moons of docile dormancy. 

The first sound heard by the other patients in the wing was a tremendous rending of metal. With strength exorbitantly far beyond that of the seemingly frail old body that housed the parasitic microorganism, the host body had torn through the steel door that had kept it caged for so long. The second was a guttural and wholly inhuman shriek of success that merged quickly with the squelching of a guard’s body being pulverized against the stark white walls of the cell block’s shared hallway, and then again by bursts of gunfire from the block’s other two guards who spent their last seconds trying to quell this newly awakened beast. As bullets found their purchase in flesh, the monster’s unearthly wails grew to a defiant crescendo which all but drowned out the sounds of the two more quiet screams that followed before the host body, unbroken despite the hail of lead that had fallen upon it, took off at a sprint down the hallway and further into the bowels of the institution that had borne it into existence.

PROLIX makes his EATBRAIN debut with ZOMBIES, a two-track single that sees the accomplished artist make a triumphant entrance before the ears of the label’s faithful. Delivering a masterful display of the unrestrained Neurofunk sonics for which both himself and EATBRAIN are so well known, PROLIX finds a natural home amidst the menagerie of monstrous minds that make up the EATBRAIN horde’s leading edge.

Saint Petersburg natives and identical twins Alexey & Dmitry Goncharenko are 2 Drum & Bass / Hardcore producer DJ's that have made a serious mark on the scene in the last 2 years. Their interest in electronic music emerged in late 2003, and by 2007 they began to release their own productions to the delight of both fans and the label bosses they looked up to from the start of their career. With inspiration coming from producers like Technical Itch, The Panacea, Evol Intent, Cooh, Audio and Dylan. The Boys quickly found their own signature style, combining frantic breakbeats with 4/4 kickdrums and complex arrangements, resulting in a hi-voltage musical assault. They have also been instrumental in establishing the "crossbreed" sub genre across a wider audience.

The identical twins on-stage presence is unmatched in its visual aspect as well as its energy, making them a unique live show and very popular across Europe. Having worked in the industry since 16, and now at the tender age of 21, the Terrible Twins have are regulars on the Drum & Bass / Hardcore circuit, headlining regularly in places such as Estonia, Belarus, Austria, Belgium, Portugal, Poland, Hungary, Netherlands and many more. They are residents of  the bibles of dark drum and bass, and hardcore, Therapy Sessions and Prspct, and are even the promoters of both in St Petersburg. They have released tracks on Yellow Stripe, Prspct, LB and Position Chrome.
