Magnetic Waves

Originally released under the name 'NLX' on the 'Summer Sets' cd in 2001. Cd was pressed and limited to a 100 copy run. The first sample heavy 4/4 track I had done, it was recorded over a period of months on a Roland VS-880. Over 48 layers went into the final mix down. I've never mixed with that many layers since... it took forever. But a really fun track for the period. And there is a light saber in there. 


Ganemyde

Based from Verbs track 'Starting Over'. Started as a remix, and was mixed several times until it became this version. Dj Blacklisted also contributed loops and production to this mix.

A 3/4 sci-fi waltz, programmed as a 12 bar in 4/4. One of my favorite personal tracks. Meant to evoke the icy waters of Jupiter's moon Europa. Live take off of the MC-505.


Europa (Live pa)

Something a little different. 106 bpm electro something or other, imbued with the spirit of summer. Recorded August 2011, mainly a live pa with a little cut and paste action. A second layer of synth was hand mixed over top for added smoothness. 

Helioplane (2011 demo version)

A sonic love letter to the game Destiny. Assembled from over 80 samples taken from the game and stitched together again. Dedicated to my Destiny Clan (Gladius of Oberon), the Destiny community of players everywhere, and Bungie for making it. Assembled on a Roland MC-909 groovebox, and recorded in one live take.
