Heavily inspired from a mixed bag of sounds 
The Strokes, Hockey Dad, A. Swayze & the Ghosts, Beach House, anything with swoony vocals and a raw sound.

2019 was a breakthrough yeah for Gangz, with the release of his hometown anthem '3350' in late october and honoured to be picked as Triple j Unerathed Feature Artist Of The Week they hit the ground running, playing shows and drawing a new audience through radio & an infectious live performance. The year ended with another dream pop single release 'Call Me Up', Playing Spilt Milk Festival & Huge NYE show at The Espy in St Kilda.
2020 didnt slow down with the release of 'Give In Tonight" which instantly picked up rave reviews and radio play!

They had started their first Australian Tour supporting Kingswood & Samsaruh and had just released their Debut EP "Mid 20's when covid 19 hit the world and has put everything on hold for now, but taking this down time to write / record new songs and hopfully get back to playing shows when its safe. Until then very exited about the release of their big new single "Still Good' released on May 29th x
