Kippo Gets His Girl (Pogo Remix)

This is an orchestral remix of the theme on the dark ride "Geisterschloss" in Europa Park, Rust (Germany). The ride is one of the oldest attractions in the park and regained cult status.
The track of the ride is widely known under fans and visitors of the park and the ride.
This remix is a tribute to the Geisterschloss and the track. Originally planned as a more baroque like piece, it went into a different path during development. A lot of heart and love was put into making the track.

In Duesterwald gehts lustig zu

Als einfache Skizze begonnen, um mein neu gekauftes Plugin "Genesis Child Choir" von Audiobro auszuprobieren, immer mehr ausgebaut und jetzt haben wir das hier. :)

Es erinnert mich an einen Vogel, der seine Flügel ausspannt und zum Flug ansetzt. Der Part mit den Trompeten erinnert mich allerdings mehr an Krieg. An was denkst du?

Wenn ich meine bisherigen Arbeiten so vergleiche, stelle ich fest, dass es recht wenig Dynamik im Klang und Abwechslung bei den Instrumenten gibt. Ich sollte mehr darauf achten, Instrumente nur an bestimmten Stellen einzusetzen und auch bei den Techniken der Instrumenten ruhig mutiger zu sein. An meinen Spannungsbögen muss ich noch arbeiten. Auch kann für ein Orchester ruhig ein Klang länger gehalten werden, ich befürchte aber, dass das zu langweilig werden könnte. The struggle is real.

Leider weiß ich sehr wenig von Harmonielehre. Da fehlt mir die Theorie, sonst könnte ich viel schneller komponieren.

Nichtsdestotrotz macht es mir unendlich Spaß, stundenlang zu komponieren und mich dem Klang hinzugeben. Orchestermusik ist schon was magisches.
