Las características de la obra es que tiene canciones cantadas en maya, acompañadas de instrumentos con características prehispánicas.

Los responsables de este grupo son padres y padrinos de los integrantes del grupo denominad "TUMBEN K'AAY" que inicio su misión en los años 1987. La misión es rescatar, fortalecer la lengua y la cultura maya en la interpretación del canto y la lucha en contra de su extinción y rescatar la re significación de nuestros valores como pueblo originario en sólida identidad.
