One half of the brains behind one of the North’s longest standing queer parties, High Hoops and a resident DJ at Freak Queer Rave. Fastlove is an advocate for diverse and inclusive dancefloors, he has been responsible for bringing the likes of DJ Sprinkles, Eris Drew, Carista, Powder and plenty more to the party capital of the North over the last 9 years. Now venturing solo with his new side project, Fastlove shares his love of sexy rolling house music and high energy trance-tinged heaters.

Whether unleashing a torrent of full-throttle breaks and bass heavy beats with a discernible UK influence or delving into the profound and enigmatic realms of Latin bass and dembow, the Manchester-based DJ showcases a versatility that allows her prowess to become molded and shaped by those around her whilst injecting her own dynamic spin on things.

With an impressive roster of supported artists including the likes of Joy Orbison, object blue, Client_03, TSVI, and Bluetoof, the trajectory of Zuri's career appears increasingly radiant, promising an active and inspiring presence throughout the entirety of 2024 for a DJ who exhibits no indications of slowing down.

In 1997, the DJ Omega III took a trip to Benidorm with seventeen seventeen year olds. His first holiday abroad was notable for several significant reasons: his first marker tags on the continent, the first time he was dispersed with pepper spray and an incredible haul of early Bakalao records that he was offered in the Ku Discoteca car park. The dusty wax remained in the recesses of his collection until this week, when he finally made peace with the naïve melodies, abrasive synths and unapologetically euro percussion. 

The mix is dedicated to the memory of Victoria María Aragüés Gadea, better known as Sticky Vicky.
