Coming from Vasha, Circuit City, this DJ and producer has been mixing for 4 years. She's played at a good bit of VRChat Venues including Bloodbath, Net Cafe Cache, Ethos, Claustrophobia, Daytoadna 420, Moe's Lawn Care, Angel's dream capsule hotel, Ragehauz, friend club, shark hut, and of course Motel Roze. She's also technically played at Cell Bind before it was held at Concrete. When I asked what got her into DJ'ing she told me she was kind of into radio back in Highschool and would often try to make "shows" for people on CDs or eventually just MP3s that she'd send to people. Eventually, the concept of DJ'ing was brought up to her as a dare once at a party, and while it was absolutely nerve-wracking, something inside of her felt really electric doing it. Eventually, she started getting into music production, which took off more when she formed her band named "2PMode" with her partner Atlas. Her favorite genres to play are NXC, Netpunk, Plunderphonics, Mashcore, Trance, & Hip-hop. Outside of DJ'ing she really likes making visual art and recently got back into video editing. Outside of that? Big fan of Fortnite and card games. and one of her favorite non-EDM songs is I Don't Wanna Die from the Ging Nang Boyz. She also used to make games, tabletop, and very small visual novels. Her online persona comes from one of those games, a small unfinished demo of a Cyberpunk present-day where an AOL trial disk tries to murder you. She's currently reworking that into a comic.

She also told me she has Agoraphobia and has a really hard time opening up to others, but when she DJs she puts her entire self out there online. She gets to tell a story, she gets to be stronger, braver, and have more Charisma. She's invincible. She told me "We put our souls out for others, and while  easy to get bruised and tarnish the entrapped frames of our memory, no matter what, the shots inside make the pillar of what's you." She's really thankful she gets to share her soul with others in ways that feel genuine. Her online persona is like a mask but one that she gets to wear with pride and one that connects her heart to others. She thank you all for giving her a face to be proud of, anyone who has ever made memories with her. "Connections are precious, build a better net for me and you" she said. 

For this mix, she channeled the feelings of Ennui, Inertia, feeling lost late at night, and a meaningful walk down the highway bridge. and one of her favorite songs in this mix is Barriers and Pitfalls by Cloudy.

This DJ and Producer from New York has been mixing for 5 years now. Over the course of the 2 years she's been in the scene, she's DJ'ed at many venues. Her go-to genres are Neurohop, Hardgroove, Bass House, Breaks, and probably anything that has BASS. She was inspired to pick up DJing when she realized she had the freedom to mix anything how she wants and when she wants. With that in mind, this mix in particular is also inspired by the expression of variety and freedom to play and be who you are. One of her favorite songs in this mix is TEKNOHAZARD (XUSTRIST, GOS, HAIRBRUSH MIRROR) by RAVEMAIL. 

Outside of DJing, she said she used to longboard a lot but since she's moved she's been playing the piano and yoyoing. I used to want to get good with a yoyo but I could never figure out anything past throwing it down and getting it to come back up. She has been on her own since she was 13 and has traveled across more than half the states in the US, good times. One of her favorite non-EDM songs is The Mars Volta by Dyslexicon.

Finally, she's been working on a couple of projects which include a VRChat wold/Rave venue that hopefully steps away from the common club theme and she has an EP in the works. There's no real set release date for either of those projects but they're in the works.

This DJ and aspiring producer from the United States has been mixing for almost 2 years. They started by accident actually. They were asked to fill in a spot for a friend's event. At the event, their friend Vickyboo heard them mix and asked them to play at more events. As they played more events, their friends became a huge inspiration to continue. They've played at many Venues and events including Rizumu, WCKD, Static, Null, TerrorTorium, BCTO, TUNL, Techno-Tuesday, SnowGrid, and many others that make this too long to list but they appreciate every single venue that has hosted them. 

Some of their favorite genres to mix include Industrial Techno/Hardcore & Amen/Jungle. Most of their sets are based on how they're feeling that day or it depends on if they're trying to convey a story. Their Garage30 mix is a bit of both. They tend to play a more "dark" vibe than a party vibe in order to try to give a different experience than the norm of the community. One of their favorite songs in this mix is Artem Mortuus by Parapher, they really enjoy its abrupt descent into chaos.

DJ'ing has introduced them to many talented people that they've been able to call friends. For them, it's just been about the experience of it all. They've had a blast working and getting to know this scene as a whole, and they couldn't be more appreciative of how they've helped them. Whether it was doing a few charity events they've helped put together or helping them in a time of need. Their heart is full and they could never repay the kindness that has been given to them from it. 


Outside of DJ'ing they're really into writing Avant-garde/free-form poetry and one of their favorite non-edm songs is the peaceful sounds of rain. They also have a youtube channel, and IF you are able to find it, you'll find 7 of their past works as a DeathMetal Vocalist. Good luck.

Finally, they'd like to promote a merging of projects they've created with Garage30 Alumn Woodgraves - formerly known as Akuma. It is called Empty Sessions, and it is a merging of their two projects where DJs play 1 1/2 to 2-hour sets of experimental, conceptual, or story-driven sets. They said it's been a blast working with Woodgraves, and they're excited to see more DJs step out of their comfort zone and play a different kind of set than usual.

This DJ and soon-to-be producer from Minnesota has been mixing for about 7 months. He's always loved electronic music and when he was old enough, would use Limewire to find it and Xfiles to share it. There might be a good chunk of people out there who have no idea what that meant just now which in his words, dates him. He was inspired by his friends Scott Danesi, Schwank, Dino, and Mayhemchan, to start DJ'ing at shows. Once he started to learn more both Mayor of Texas and kitsuneMixes helping him a ton with his DJing and he will always love them and all of his friends for what they got him into. Since DJ'ing in VR he's played at TUNL, Reflect, DDVR, 7D, Rift, Ice Crown, Spyral, DEAD END, Mixify, Bass Station, RNG, and more. Dubstep was initially the genre that he would play, but as he's learned more he's branched out to some other genres. he's excited to show off what he's able to mix with here. For this mix, he wants everyone to feel something and maybe hear something that they maybe have heard before but maybe not. He wasn't able to pick a favorite song in this mix, so he told me that his favorite is "The one that you like the Most".

For him, the most rewarding part about DJing is seeing and hearing that his music has helped make someone's night better, an event more fun, or just seeing a happy crowd enjoying his mix while they dance together in VR. Outside of DJing, he enjoys exploring VR a lot. He's also voice-acted more than once on commercial projects and has modeled in the past. When I asked him what his favorite non-EDM song was, he said in terms of songs that bring out "feelings" it was a tie between Ke$ha's Praying and Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt. If feelings aren't been taken into account, it's Wildfire by Sonata Arctica.

This DJ and Producer from Burlington, Vermont has been DJ'ing since May of last year. Her favorite Manga author Nishio Yuhta happens to be a filter house and French house DJ as well, and his mixes made a deep impression on her. She tried DJ'ing on a friend's controller for a little bit, but it was VR that really made her want to DJ again. One DDJ-400 later, it stuck. Since starting out she's played at DEEPBLUE, Dieseslworks, Plantasia, SnowGrid, Turbine, Techno Tuesday, KYUUB, LYOKO, and Many more! Some of her favorite genres to mix are French House, Afro/Latin House, Hard Drum, and Breakbeat. She also really enjoys ambient and experimental sounds which is actually what she produces under the name Fionorence. Aside from DJ'ing and Producing, she helps organize an event named Wired Voices, which is based on absolute freedom of expression. She encourages DJs to play regardless of their perceived skill level, how weird the genre they're playing might be, and especially songs they feel might not work in another club setting. She wanted to bring that same feeling and vibe to the mix she's playing today which is very much reflected by her favorite song on today's mix Fieldtrip by Boxcutter. She really likes the tracks she chooses as openers because they set the mood for the set, and this track in particular has a lovely ephemeral feel. it's floaty, full of drums, and has a bit of a jazzy element. Outside of DJing she really likes cooking! She also used to scanlate manga, right before she joined VRChat, and one of her favorite Non-edm songs is Horror Vector by HHY & The Macumbas.

This DJ who is currently in Kansas but has lived in many states like New York, Oklahoma, Cali, Louisiana, and Texas, has been DJing for about a year and a half now. The community, the friends, and the music all had a hand in what inspired them to pick up DJing. Witnessing others sharing a deep affection for the same genres of music that resonate with them is what they call the most rewarding thing about DJing. Since starting they've played at a LOT of venues, too many to list. But they wanted to say thank you to everyone who has booked them and will book them in the future. You might also know this DJ as the owner of SNOWGRID. They actually started SNOWGRID on their birthday in February, then followed it up with their friend Dino's birthday in April. It was initially supposed to be a one-time event but they continued to do it because of their love of the scene. One of their favorite genres to mix is Techno but they've recently been messing with some lighter themes. When I asked them what was the inspiration or feeling behind this week's mix, they said "it just says 'nice'." 

Outside of DJing, they enjoy creating maps, drawing, producing, and other creative outlets since creativity is what drives them.  And one of their favorite non-EDM songs is Dogs by Noun which they hella recommend.

This DJ and aspiring producer from St. Louis Missouri has been DJ'ing for 2 and a half years. He's always loved sharing music with people, so much so that he would make playlists for friends on youtube. He never approached the thought of DJing because he thought he had to produce music in order to do so. It wasn't until October 2020 that his friend Akiyama pushed him in front of a crowd armed with nothing but Audacity, youtube, and Virtual Audio Cable. It was this push, though, that encouraged him to pick up a DDJ-SB3 directly after this show. He later went on to help Akiyama with "The 90's Arcade" and found the vibrant VR Community of Ravers that he loves so much. 

Since then he's DJ'ed at venues such as Baptizm, LED Awaken, Hypothetical, Hypernova, Subsystem, and TONS more. His go-to genres to mix are Techno, Trance, & Hardcore. One of the main influences for this week's mix, and for his mixes and taste in EDM in general, come from his love of Rhythm Games; his favorite being Cytus 2. He's always enjoyed the various types of EDM found in the indie side of Japan as well, particularly the Touhou music that comes out of Comiket every year. His favorite track in this set is Noctimental Journey by Switchworks.

Outside of DJing, he really enjoys camping and hiking, although he hasn't been in a while. He also has an adorable black and white tuxedo cat named Aki. And his favorite non-EDM track is Nandemonaiya by RADWIMPS which I believe is in the Your Name movie OST.

This DJ and producer from Seattle has been mixing for 11 years. Starting off life as a musician in multiple bands, he started getting into music production when Skrillex was first putting American audiences on to dubstep. Being a performing artist, he reluctantly picked up a Numark Mixtrack and then started to learn how to play out the music he was making. Since then he's fallen in love with DJ'ing. He feels that anyone can mix, but not everyone can tell a story or take you on a journey with a mix. Nothing rewards him more than finishing a mix and feeling like people "got it" His go-to genres are anything at 150 BPM, a bunch of Drum n Bass, and he's working hard on incorporating speedcore. This mix specifically mainlines drum and bass. Bouncing off of that, this mix sets the stage as the summer's end mix, which segues from hard and fun summer songs to autumnal Seasonal Affective Disorder drum and bass. Outside of DJ'ing he works as an engineer on an oil rig. Thankfully the Hibernia S.E. rig has top-grade Internet connectivity and ample space in the accommodation quarters for VR use. 

He said he's going to be taking steps to remind everyone that he produces music. Throughout the year of 2024 he will be releasing all the stuff he's been writing and stockpiling in 2023. Other than that he hopes people come through to all the upcoming OFFSHORE shows, and the various other shows he will be at during the rest of the year. I hope you all get to visit OFFSHORE too! This DJ from the Den-Bosch area of The Netherlands has been mixing since October of 2019. She began her journey when the Rhythm game "Spin Rhythm XD" popped up on her Twitter feed which prominently featured the ability to play the game using DJ decks. I actually also own this game and thought it was fun asf to play with my DJ board. This feature, however, led her to buy the cheapest DJ deck she could find which helped her explore Virtual DJ a bit. It wasn't until 2021 when she first watched Straz's video about the VRChat rave scene when she fell in love with the idea of DJing even more. She feels that she's not very creative when it comes to making music from scratch, so DJing helps her express herself musically. Playing tracks she already enjoys in unique and interesting ways, and creating journeys for the listener is what kinda made her invest more of her time into DJing. 

Since starting she's played at a few venues and events including but not limited to Fishbowl, KYUUB, ARCTFEST, MR. SHOEZ, TECHNEU, Claustrophobia, and Vibefest. Her go-to genres include Breakcore, Techno, IDM, Ambient, and Noise. Catching the audience off-guard with tracks that make people go "wow...", but in a good way, is one of her favorite parts of DJing. 

For today's mix, she wanted to revisit her first set ever in VR which she performed at FUCK YOU TOO, which is the name of an event I swear. She fondly looks back at that set, and she really wanted to make a spiritual successor for it. Garage30 gives her the time to fully sink her teeth into it and make it the best she can. Her favorite song in today's mix is a song called "Quotient".* When elaborating she said, "Piano is an instrument that has a hold over me like no other. And it's a track from one of the first Albums I've ever bought with my own money. So it means something to me I guess." 

Outside of DJ'ing she really likes completing puzzles with her partner, she has and uses an Osu! lanyard that she got 4 years ago even though she hasn't played Osu! in over a decade, and her favorite non-EDM song is Blossom by Porter Robinson, which I know might not really make sense to some since it's featured on a predominantly electronic album, but I'm like pretty sure the only "edm-y" element of the song is Porter's nurture voice effect, but the song is like mainly a piano that sounds like an acoustic guitar and singing so I'll let we'll give her a pass this time. 

Finally, she's always open for bookings, and she generally streams every day from 8 PM CEST to 10 PM CEST on Twitch.
