This DJ and aspiring producer from the United States has been mixing for almost 2 years. They started by accident actually. They were asked to fill in a spot for a friend's event. At the event, their friend Vickyboo heard them mix and asked them to play at more events. As they played more events, their friends became a huge inspiration to continue. They've played at many Venues and events including Rizumu, WCKD, Static, Null, TerrorTorium, BCTO, TUNL, Techno-Tuesday, SnowGrid, and many others that make this too long to list but they appreciate every single venue that has hosted them. 

Some of their favorite genres to mix include Industrial Techno/Hardcore & Amen/Jungle. Most of their sets are based on how they're feeling that day or it depends on if they're trying to convey a story. Their Garage30 mix is a bit of both. They tend to play a more "dark" vibe than a party vibe in order to try to give a different experience than the norm of the community. One of their favorite songs in this mix is Artem Mortuus by Parapher, they really enjoy its abrupt descent into chaos.

DJ'ing has introduced them to many talented people that they've been able to call friends. For them, it's just been about the experience of it all. They've had a blast working and getting to know this scene as a whole, and they couldn't be more appreciative of how they've helped them. Whether it was doing a few charity events they've helped put together or helping them in a time of need. Their heart is full and they could never repay the kindness that has been given to them from it. 


Outside of DJ'ing they're really into writing Avant-garde/free-form poetry and one of their favorite non-edm songs is the peaceful sounds of rain. They also have a youtube channel, and IF you are able to find it, you'll find 7 of their past works as a DeathMetal Vocalist. Good luck.

Finally, they'd like to promote a merging of projects they've created with Garage30 Alumn Woodgraves - formerly known as Akuma. It is called Empty Sessions, and it is a merging of their two projects where DJs play 1 1/2 to 2-hour sets of experimental, conceptual, or story-driven sets. They said it's been a blast working with Woodgraves, and they're excited to see more DJs step out of their comfort zone and play a different kind of set than usual.

This DJ and producer from Dallas, Texas has been mixing for about a year and a half. After attending their first event at Ghost Club they were immediately infatuated with the music, atmosphere, and people. A month later they were turning knobs. They've always loved music, especially when you can feel the DJ's emotion and narrative/style they specialize in. Their favorite genres to mix are Techno and Breakcore and since DJ'ing in VR, they've played at Null, Dead End, Nurtured 2, and multiple standalone events and pop-ups. 

For their Garage30 Mix, they wanted to create an atmosphere that people can enjoy, and they want people to feel the emotion set by the music they play. They use a lot of alternative artists that people don't know so it's like they're discovering a new world. They're going a little bit out of their comfort zone this time around by also including more genres and variety than they usually add to their set.

Finally, they're working on their own Venue, NERV, which will debut sometime in July with a series of pop-ups, and they're also in the middle of a rebrand right now so their names might be different on Twitter and stuff.

This DJ from Okinawa, Japan has been mixing for 11 months. He started DJ'ing after seeing his VRChat friends DJ which piqued his interest. Since then he's played at KYUUB, Culture Center, Club Monolith, Sense Lab Tokyo, Nishiwake Electroacoustic Engineering, LH Novice, and his own venue Club Insomnia. His favorite genres to mix are Techno and Hardstyle. Outside of DJing, he plays bass guitar. He's actually been playing bass since he was 11 years old. This DJ and Producer from Burlington, Vermont has been DJ'ing since May of last year. Her favorite Manga author Nishio Yuhta happens to be a filter house and French house DJ as well, and his mixes made a deep impression on her. She tried DJ'ing on a friend's controller for a little bit, but it was VR that really made her want to DJ again. One DDJ-400 later, it stuck. Since starting out she's played at DEEPBLUE, Dieseslworks, Plantasia, SnowGrid, Turbine, Techno Tuesday, KYUUB, LYOKO, and Many more! Some of her favorite genres to mix are French House, Afro/Latin House, Hard Drum, and Breakbeat. She also really enjoys ambient and experimental sounds which is actually what she produces under the name Fionorence. Aside from DJ'ing and Producing, she helps organize an event named Wired Voices, which is based on absolute freedom of expression. She encourages DJs to play regardless of their perceived skill level, how weird the genre they're playing might be, and especially songs they feel might not work in another club setting. She wanted to bring that same feeling and vibe to the mix she's playing today which is very much reflected by her favorite song on today's mix Fieldtrip by Boxcutter. She really likes the tracks she chooses as openers because they set the mood for the set, and this track in particular has a lovely ephemeral feel. it's floaty, full of drums, and has a bit of a jazzy element. Outside of DJing she really likes cooking! She also used to scanlate manga, right before she joined VRChat, and one of her favorite Non-edm songs is Horror Vector by HHY & The Macumbas.

This DJ who is currently in Kansas but has lived in many states like New York, Oklahoma, Cali, Louisiana, and Texas, has been DJing for about a year and a half now. The community, the friends, and the music all had a hand in what inspired them to pick up DJing. Witnessing others sharing a deep affection for the same genres of music that resonate with them is what they call the most rewarding thing about DJing. Since starting they've played at a LOT of venues, too many to list. But they wanted to say thank you to everyone who has booked them and will book them in the future. You might also know this DJ as the owner of SNOWGRID. They actually started SNOWGRID on their birthday in February, then followed it up with their friend Dino's birthday in April. It was initially supposed to be a one-time event but they continued to do it because of their love of the scene. One of their favorite genres to mix is Techno but they've recently been messing with some lighter themes. When I asked them what was the inspiration or feeling behind this week's mix, they said "it just says 'nice'." 

Outside of DJing, they enjoy creating maps, drawing, producing, and other creative outlets since creativity is what drives them.  And one of their favorite non-EDM songs is Dogs by Noun which they hella recommend.

This DJ from Tuscon Arizona has been mixing for about a year now. He actually first picked up DJ'ing back in 2021 and took a long break before picking it back up in late 2022. Ghostclub was actually his main inspiration for picking up DJ'ing but not for the reason most people would believe. The venue itself played a huge part in his love of the music and scene. He's never really been clubbing, but the whole brutalist apartment setting of GC plus the music they played there gave him this exhilarating experience that made him think "I want to create something like this too." It pushed him to create Wiretap, a group and event that he and his friends put together that happens during JP times. He started to learn how to 3D Model and since he didn't have many connections with DJs in the scene at the time, he pushed himself to learn how to DJ as well to fill in the lineups along with his friends. He enjoys seeing people dance to the music he plays and seeing them have as much fun as he is. Since then he's DJed at venues such as Wiretap, Kyuub, Club Sabotage, SEQUENCE, Ratnobyl, Haneyasume, and Club Rapid.

His favorite genres to mix are Techno, Drum n bass, and Progressive Trance. He's had a lot of hard days at work recently, so he wanted to provide a mix that he could just relax to. Plus, he also took it as a chance to go back to what he started mixing with and see how his skillset has changed since then. One of his favorite songs in this mix is Helix by Nhato.

Outside of DJing, he's recently gotten hooked on baking. He also used to do voice acting, and he's featured in an obscure, indie visual novel that came out back in 2014. It may or may not still be circulating the internet, who knows? 

And, one of his favorite non-EDM songs is Girl by ChouChou and OrcaOrca.

This DJ and aspiring producer from St. Louis Missouri has been DJ'ing for 2 and a half years. He's always loved sharing music with people, so much so that he would make playlists for friends on youtube. He never approached the thought of DJing because he thought he had to produce music in order to do so. It wasn't until October 2020 that his friend Akiyama pushed him in front of a crowd armed with nothing but Audacity, youtube, and Virtual Audio Cable. It was this push, though, that encouraged him to pick up a DDJ-SB3 directly after this show. He later went on to help Akiyama with "The 90's Arcade" and found the vibrant VR Community of Ravers that he loves so much. 

Since then he's DJ'ed at venues such as Baptizm, LED Awaken, Hypothetical, Hypernova, Subsystem, and TONS more. His go-to genres to mix are Techno, Trance, & Hardcore. One of the main influences for this week's mix, and for his mixes and taste in EDM in general, come from his love of Rhythm Games; his favorite being Cytus 2. He's always enjoyed the various types of EDM found in the indie side of Japan as well, particularly the Touhou music that comes out of Comiket every year. His favorite track in this set is Noctimental Journey by Switchworks.

Outside of DJing, he really enjoys camping and hiking, although he hasn't been in a while. He also has an adorable black and white tuxedo cat named Aki. And his favorite non-EDM track is Nandemonaiya by RADWIMPS which I believe is in the Your Name movie OST.

This DJ and aspiring producer from Paterson, New Jersey has been djing for roughly 2 years. While he doesn't get a chance to speak with them often, one of his main influences for DJing came from his two older brothers from Spain, who used to be DJs in the 90s. His inspiration ascended, though, when he visited Ghost Club for the first time.

After finding out his friend Pod was starting to create a DJ venue he knew it was his time to start mixing. Since then he's played at venues such as Kyuub, Sabotage, Monday Relief, Club Magenta, Cocosworks, Ethos, RNG, ICECROWN, and WIRETAP which he helps run with POD. Some of his favorite genres to mix are House, Tribal, & J-core, and for today's mix, he has curated some tracks that show the type of style you'll find in his sets. One example of this is Floorplan Extended Remix of Glory by Dames Brown & Waajeed which is his favorite song in today's mix. While DJ'ing in itself is rewarding, he finds that meeting new people and making connections is probably his favorite part about the whole thing.

Outside of DJing, he says that being a nerd about Tokusatsu is his favorite activity. You'll find that if you see him live that all of his visuals are various clips from different Tokusatsu shows it's pretty cool. And his favorite non-EDM song is Bamboleo by the Gipsy Kings.

This DJ and producer from Las Vegas has been mixing for 3 years now. Watching and listening to different DJs' performances was what gave him the inspiration to try his own thing among friends. To him, the best part about DJing is having everyone be hyped and enjoy the music. Since starting he's played at a few venues in VR such as RNG, Club Sabotage, Wiretap which he runs with his friends POD and Daisuke Strike, and a few other places that he didn't list. His go-to genres are Footwork, Jersey Club, and Ghetto Tech. After taking a small break from the scene, he wanted to step back into it with this mix to show off a genre that hasn't really been played much. Aside from DJing he actually competes in USPSA matches, which is short for the United States Practical Shooting Association. That's pretty cool I think competitive shooting sounds fun. He also loves bagels with cream cheese and bacon, which is an interesting mix, and lastly, his favorite non-EDMng is Strike by Lil Boat also known as Lil Yachty. This DJ and producer from Seattle has been mixing for 11 years. Starting off life as a musician in multiple bands, he started getting into music production when Skrillex was first putting American audiences on to dubstep. Being a performing artist, he reluctantly picked up a Numark Mixtrack and then started to learn how to play out the music he was making. Since then he's fallen in love with DJ'ing. He feels that anyone can mix, but not everyone can tell a story or take you on a journey with a mix. Nothing rewards him more than finishing a mix and feeling like people "got it" His go-to genres are anything at 150 BPM, a bunch of Drum n Bass, and he's working hard on incorporating speedcore. This mix specifically mainlines drum and bass. Bouncing off of that, this mix sets the stage as the summer's end mix, which segues from hard and fun summer songs to autumnal Seasonal Affective Disorder drum and bass. Outside of DJ'ing he works as an engineer on an oil rig. Thankfully the Hibernia S.E. rig has top-grade Internet connectivity and ample space in the accommodation quarters for VR use. 

He said he's going to be taking steps to remind everyone that he produces music. Throughout the year of 2024 he will be releasing all the stuff he's been writing and stockpiling in 2023. This DJ and sometimes rarely kinda maybe producer from Saskatoon Saskatchewan Canada, has been mixing for almost 2 years. on Feb 12th 2022 he attended his first shelter event. he was in an overflow instance and seeing all of the people hanging out in the alley gave him a good feeling about the event. it was further validated when the gate opened for the first time and he ran down the stairs with the crowd of people - he really started to get a sense of what he got himself into. When the music started he was hooked and really wanted to try DJing in VR. He started attending every weekend which resulted in him meeting more new people and before he knew it he found a large group of awe-inspiring people. He's super happy he found this community and loves everyone in it from the bottom of his heart. In fact, the most rewarding thing about his whole experience is all the people he's met. Since starting he's played at a few venues including Techno Tuesday, SnowGRID, Alurek, Shelter, Static, Lyoko, Comeback, TUNL, Wired Voices, Breakcore Takeover, Redacted, and OFFSHORE which he co-owns with his friend Clyde Machine. His go-to genres are Trance, Breakcore, Techno, and Drum n Bass. For this mix, he said he's always wanted to make a mix for himself, so these are all songs that hold a special place in his heart.
