Les cliquetis métalliques se mêlent au grondement sourd des basses, créant une symphonie mécanique qui réveille la chaîne de montage endormie. Une technicienne s'affaire, clé à molette en main, pour résoudre un problème de durite défectueuse. Elle inspecte chaque recoin du moteur, du filtre à huile récemment vidangé à la culasse en parfait état.
Un autre mécanicien s'apprête à vérifier l'embrayage. Il enclenche la 3ème vitesse avec précision, tandis que les rythmiques s'infiltrent dans l'atelier. Le poste radio diffuse des beats entraînants, une fusion de club ferraille et de broken noise, formant une toile sonore qui enveloppe l'espace.

Le Recyclart, mythique lieu de Moleenbeek accueille Garage 83-C pour une nuit Turbo Charged, en compagnie de Francis Cheval, Gston, u.ly, SATA, ojoo, DJ 8.6 & Fa:act. Installation

Shelters de Paul Duncombe met en scène un dispositif expérimental à la croisée de la biologie marine, de la sculpture instrumentale et de la fiction post-nucléaire. Des coquilles calcaires — vestiges de mollusques marins composées de calcite et d’aragonite — y deviennent capteurs et filtres, exposées à des sources radioactives contrôlées. Chaque structure, selon sa densité, son épaisseur ou sa géométrie, module la traversée des radiations : elle ne se contente pas de subir, elle compose. L’ensemble forme ainsi un orgue instable, dont les notes ne proviennent pas d’un souffle, mais du passage invisible de particules ionisantes.

Ce paysage sonore fragmente l’imaginaire marin en y injectant une matière invisible, nocive et persistante. Ce n’est plus l’eau salée qui traverse les coquilles, mais un flux artificiel, hérité des infrastructures extractives et militaires. Le murmure océanique cède la place à un cliquetis sec — bruit d’alerte, d’accumulation, de contamination — semblable à un acouphène collectif. Shelters donne à entendre la saturation lente des milieux, à travers une topographie sensible où la forme devient résistance, et l’écoute, acte critique. Shelters ne se contente pas de documenter une atteinte : il la rend audible, l’incarne dans une matière vivante fossilisée, et propose une écoute altérée de nos futurs minéraux et marins.
