I don't think I've ever spent this long on a remix... over four hours across two months?

Anyway, this was incredibly difficult to get to sound right. I ended up just opening the project little by little each day and making little tweaks because the entire track was a mess in FL Studio. Hardest part by far was getting a proper noise for the bassline. Something basic sounded too soft, and something too gritty would cut off all the other channels altogether. It took a lot of mix-and-matching to create a bassline sound that worked.

Also this game tho. I still haven't beaten Hell. I should open my save file again, one day...

i remember getting pokemon sapphire for my birthday, in middle school, and being so damn hype about it i could barely handle myself.  i binge-played the hell out of that game every day.  i haven't really touched the game in years, but i'd probably still call it my second favorite gen of pokemon.

anyway, here's littleroot town!  some drum and bass, followed by some misc dubsteppy stuff.  yep.  not much else to say about that.  pokemon games have really, really good music.
