Crushed it up, threw it away.
Poems are stupid anyway.
They once had power over hearts
To sway a person with beautiful art
But artists are selfish monsters
Wanting approval
Loved too much or too little by others.

It had my dreams and thoughts inside
Dreams are for children

This world is dangerous
Best to stink in a bloodied blind.
Be a hunter for there is no room for others.
Not in this world, you have no brothers.

My own brother was made into a martyr
He cannot vote yet he his soul is godly
He is an atheist
He is scared
He works 7 days a week and 
no one cares
No poet,
self serving,
would do justice for his heart
because in uncertain times
we burn so little in the dark

I did not write today
I took a gun and kissed it's face
it did not fire but I felt embraced
By shadows, terrible and many
The hunters, our children, now rough and petty
this world, our imperial police
the hunters sent to war with others
only murderers will be their brothers.

I died yesterday
In a simple room, blue and gray
4 liters constant
detuned alarms
a momentary delay
before the stars went on to burn away

Okay so this is my first song i''ve ever really sat down and written and yeah its only a minute and a half long but i'm really proud of myselff! Please take a minute to listen to this song its kind of sad but pretty i think! Thank you!!
