If you tune your ear you can hear, one by one, the little rhythmic taps of different elements aligning to guide you down a path. If you decide to follow it and enter this slow cadence, your shoulders will start to roll on their own, marking the precise times of different sounds between congas, bass, synthesizers and toms. 

On the way, Baru´s offering grows with guitar strings and tribal components. The mixtape plays with percussion and flirts with marimbas, inviting us to enjoy a jungle sound with African components. 

Si afinas el oído podrás escuchar como -uno a uno- los golpecitos rítmicos de diferentes elementos se alinean señalándote una ruta. Si decides seguirla y adentrarte en esta cadencia slow, tus hombros empezarán a remar solos marcando los tiempos claros de diferentes sonidos, entre ellos congas, cuicas , bajos, sintes y toms. 

Durante el camino, la propuesta de Baru se engruesa con cuerdas de guitarra y componentes tribales. Un mixtape que juega con percusiones y coquetea con marimbas, invitándonos a disfrutar de un sonido selvático con componentes africanos.

Nostalgic for the good ole Latin-American downtempo? Then this mixtape is just what you need with @lagartijeando delivering an ode to the Andean sound directly to your soul! Despite the international acclaim this great Argentinian producer has received over the last couple of years, he chose to stay in the small village where he was born and raised. His productions, featuring local instruments and motifs, manifest his admirable attachment to his origins and the traditional music of his homeland. His first approach to music, at the age of 14, was accidental because “nobody wanted to play bass guitar in town” so he learned it and started to play with his friends. It is astonishing how this almost random first step awakened his dormant talent for music which turned a boy into a brilliant electronic producer and music professor. The set that Lagartijeando prepared for UCR features many of his latest productions including seven unreleased tracks. Gentle instrumental sounds of flutes and drums, organic samples and a vibrant electronic beat blend beautifully into an enchanting musical journey which we are pleased to offer to our listeners. Garasadah Records is a Nepali Label which was founded in June 2017. The founders once met there on a volunteer journey. So the decision was made to establish the label as a Nepali label as well as to support the volunteer organisation, they worked for, with every income the label will make. This music label focusses on transnational sound productions. Especially cultural diversity and the implementation of indigenious sound fragments are characteristics of its music. However the confluence of generic downbeat and house elements as well as world music is no longer contradictionary but a certain style of symbiotically revel. Garasadah persues the approach of holistic music. This approach will been seen in the art of covers, the style of texts, the handling of management and at last, of course, in the implementation of music. The sound of Garasadah is produced in 432 Hz so that the music reflects the beat of life and swing in the rhythm of our cells.
