En este proyecto se da valor a las tradiciones, manifestaciones, ritmos y los sonidos originarios del territorio en que habitan, fuertemente influenciados por los países hermanos de Perú y Bolivia, en los que se emplaza la llamada macrozona andina.

Our release this month, like our last Garacast, is delivered by our co-founder Udāsa. He was inspired by his journey through Morocco. On a roadtrip near Essaouera towards Sidi Kakou he found his moment of being. At the most beautiful beach of Morocco he found peace and found the music. The music deep from the tranquility of the power of the relaxation of the soul.

“MATADERO” es un enigmático y profundo disco que trae al presente los dolores del imaginario social vivenciado hace casi 150 años con la embestida de la peste amarilla en Argentina y que, inevitablemente, nos conecta a nivel emocional con el extraño momento de la pandemia actual.

“MATADERO” es un disco muy particular, fruto de una investigación histórica que nos traslada a 1871 cuando la fiebre amarilla terminó por matar a casi el diez por ciento de los habitantes de ciudad de Buenos Aires. Es un trabajo que rescata un complejo imaginario auditivo que aborda la instancia del carnaval - momento de mayor contagio de la peste-, integrando sonoridades asociadas a lo afro, el candombe, la murga, y una musicalidad que, a la vez, describe un estado emocional de dolor y de miedo asociado a la época.

Garasadah Records is a Nepali Label which was founded in June 2017. The founders once met there on a volunteer journey. So the decision was made to establish the label as a Nepali label as well as to support the volunteer organisation, they worked for, with every income the label will make. This music label focusses on transnational sound productions. Especially cultural diversity and the implementation of indigenious sound fragments are characteristics of its music. However the confluence of generic downbeat and house elements as well as world music is no longer contradictionary but a certain style of symbiotically revel. Garasadah persues the approach of holistic music. This approach will been seen in the art of covers, the style of texts, the handling of management and at last, of course, in the implementation of music. The sound of Garasadah is produced in 432 Hz so that the music reflects the beat of life and swing in the rhythm of our cells.
