Udāsa's Second EP alsahra' kidnaps us in the Maghreb. Venue is the desert. Far away from civilization, Berber tribes roam the sand. Wind blows over the dunes. And at night, temperatures drop below freezing. Then only a cup of hot black tea will help. This desert is a place full of dangers, but also full of beauty. The voice in Alsahra' belongs to Jasmin Amin. The oud in alsahra' and Wanash played Ghaith al Shaar.

Udāsa - Wanash (Original Mix)

On his third EP for Garasadah Records Udāsa deals with North Africa. In a small village somewhere in the High Atlas young Berbers sit in a circle. One of them is plucking at a guitar. The others accompany him on their tablas. The sound of the tabla leads us down to the desert where the camels are already waiting. The multitude of field recordings was created in Morocco. On a Trip to the Sahara tabla-playing Berbers were recorded. And the children's choir for "Maharbaan" were discovered by Udāsa in the medina of Fès. The oud was played by Ghaith al Shaar.

The journey of Heimlich Musik continues with their third compilation that sums up the current state of art in downtempo music. By featuring a great mixture of up and coming and more established artists in the first two compilations, the third compilation follows this concept. 
Musically speaking, the third compilation comes as a vivid trip from oriental treats, as for example "Mumu“ by the Austrian "Wille zum Wahnsinn" to melancholic slow house, as served by "Youlaike" from Cologne. With a slowed down Indie-Disco tune Patrick Alavi continues the musical trip. Istanbul’s "Islandman" delivers a percussion-driven tool to complete the wide musical range of this collection. The third compilation by Heimlich Musik proves that downbeat music doesn't know any genre-boundaries. 
This compilation is a gift from Heimlich Musik to you, the scene of slow-groove-lovers. But in the first place it is a gift from the artists to you, who made this epic release possible. Thank you forever!

Garasadah Records is a Nepali Label which was founded in June 2017. The founders once met there on a volunteer journey. So the decision was made to establish the label as a Nepali label as well as to support the volunteer organisation, they worked for, with every income the label will make. This music label focusses on transnational sound productions. Especially cultural diversity and the implementation of indigenious sound fragments are characteristics of its music. However the confluence of generic downbeat and house elements as well as world music is no longer contradictionary but a certain style of symbiotically revel. Garasadah persues the approach of holistic music. This approach will been seen in the art of covers, the style of texts, the handling of management and at last, of course, in the implementation of music. The sound of Garasadah is produced in 432 Hz so that the music reflects the beat of life and swing in the rhythm of our cells.
