Soft, fluid, slow. A melodious flow of music, filled with the sweet melancholy of ever-changing time and inevitable loneliness, telling stories of passing life. This is Doina's energy. Doina is one of Moldavia’s musical folklore dramaturgies, which has inspired our friend and artist @bliznochi to compose the songs for our today’s release „Nisip“.
The EP may be seen as a dedication to what we call our home, our home lands. The environment we have perceived in our childhood. The nature, the sounds and the emotions that are deeply rooted in our minds and hearts, carried to present times. For Bliz Nochi this home is the Nistru river in Moldavia, of which shores he has grown up, capturing the tradition of local culture.
Bliz Nochi combined both works „Nisip De Pe Malul Nistrului" (meaning „the sand of the shores of the river Nistru“) and „Sand“ into the EP’s title "Nisip" – sand. Its memories drive Bliz Nochi’s search for new interpretations of the traditional Moldavian musical song – Doina – as a theme of connection with the land where he grew up, with the flow of the river, the passage of time and the eternal song of life.
Accompanied by Amalia Sadreev, clarinetist from Kazan, who skilfully transforms the feeling of Doina through his instrument. The clarinet sings this Doina song in „Nisip De Pe Malul Nistrului" together with a male voice, echoing and complementing each other. 
The polyrhythmic melody of „Sand“ is performed with an acoustic guitar. Meant to induce our subconsciousness, this melody might feels familiar to some, being once sung by a male or female voice. It shall connect us with the mood of that ever-flowing song of life.

The EP comes with 4 Remixes. Each of them combining the original idea of the songs with the unique style of the artists:

Portuguese duo Ohxalá (@ohxala) casts their unmistakable groove on „Nisip De Pe Malul Nistrului“ by drawing a baseline, that simply invites you to jump up and dance.

Hungarian artist BéTé (@destroydisco) is known for his bright and colourful edits. He adds the song a typical pinch of playfulness and emphasises its trippy character.

C.love (@cloveontherocks-1) sprinkles the flair of her habitat, the Californian Joshua Tree desert. She kinda lets the sun dry out „Sand“ and sieves it’s grains. The result is a rough and psychedelic texture, spiced up with a fine dash of acid.

Istanbul based artist Erhan Yilmaz (@erhanyilmazedits) stirs in an oriental flavour to his interpretation and let’s the Nistru river flow a little faster. He pours in a mysterious and bouncy wave that is all set for its vigorous slosh on the dance floor.

Beyond being a journey into the inner worlds, the EP 'Era of Harmony' is a memory of our light, darkness, self-love, and the awareness that everything consists of these elements while all are equally important.

The EP is a creation of the years 2020 and 2021, of difficult times, in which we all feel, or will feel, greatly challenged with ourselves, each other, and our surroundings. For this very reason, it became essential for us to support each other in any way we can and encounter each other with love and an open heart. Tolerance, acceptance, and forgiveness are rising to become central values in new times. 
We should not separate from each other just because we live different realities. We have to learn to love, forgive and even if it feels challenging to do so, love unconditionally. 

It is a journey into our light, our shadows, our soul, and our heart. Every track consists of healing frequencies. Similarly, every song can help bring about and reveal what you need at this moment to support your journey on planet earth. All can be experienced by you, consciously or subconsciously.

"Kilifi" is a bouncy, energetic tribal dance track, designed to uplift and get bodies moving, featuring euphoric vocal chanting. The inspiration came from attending and participating in Kilifi New Year, a rapidly-ascending festival on the Kenyan coast, where @tomcommoner was welcomed by a vibrant and hospitable community for many weeks. The intent is to celebrate and showcase some of these cultural aesthetics, and bring them to dance floors around the world.

Chacaltaya (Mollo language for "bridge of winds" or "winds meeting point", Aymara for "cold road") is a mountain in the Cordillera Real, one of the mountain ranges of the Cordillera Oriental, itself a range of the Bolivian Andes. Its elevation is 5,421 meters (17,785 ft). Chacaltaya's glacier — which was as old as 18,000 years — had an area of 0.22 km2 (0.085 sq mi) in 1940, which had been reduced to 0.01 km2 (0.0039 sq mi) in 2007 and was completely gone by 2009. Half of the meltdown, as measured by volume, took place before 1980. The final meltdown after 1980, due to missing precipitation and the warm phase of El Niño, resulted in the glacier's disappearance in 2009. The glacier was formerly one of the highest in South America, located about 30 kilometers (19 mi) from La Paz, near Huayna Potosí mountain.

Garasadah Records is a Nepali Label which was founded in June 2017. The founders once met there on a volunteer journey. So the decision was made to establish the label as a Nepali label as well as to support the volunteer organisation, they worked for, with every income the label will make. This music label focusses on transnational sound productions. Especially cultural diversity and the implementation of indigenious sound fragments are characteristics of its music. However the confluence of generic downbeat and house elements as well as world music is no longer contradictionary but a certain style of symbiotically revel. Garasadah persues the approach of holistic music. This approach will been seen in the art of covers, the style of texts, the handling of management and at last, of course, in the implementation of music. The sound of Garasadah is produced in 432 Hz so that the music reflects the beat of life and swing in the rhythm of our cells.
