Finally our first sound cloud post...Dog Got Shot was one of the very first songs written by Garbaj Kaetz in Bridgeport, Chicago in 2007. The song was created by a few local children who were playing with us in a store front window display of a Paper Rad installation (Edmar was very angry about that). A passer by was walking his pitbull with a headcone on, the kids laughed said "dog got shot". When we asked them how they wanted to be credited they replied "naked brothers band". Later we found out that was a Nickolodean TV show or something.

Another early GK song. "Tell Your Sister I Love Her" was written for our friends in Dodgeville, Wisconsin and soul sister Susanna. During the summer of 2007 when GK was in residence at Jumpin Jupiter we met some farm triplet boys. Kirk and Cameron ;), the other one we never met. Kirk, age 6, fell in love with Susanna. As his Dad pulled away in his pick up Kirk announced "tell your sister I love her". And so it be the song is for Susanna and Kirk and what would happen if he waited 20 years.

Age Song was also written in the summer of 2007 in Bridgeport, Chicago on the ground floor of the co-prosperity sphere. Surrounded by our friends, MInoo, Jail, Jen Kitchen, and maybe a little Ossian we pulled this song out of the haunted chambers. This song was inspired by John the Janitor who gave me keys to the building, in the song I describe our age difference and my appreciation for a copy of the keys. This version of the song was recorded by Phillip Haut in 2010 and released as a single on a double cassette comp by Human Ear Music.

Felt was recorded by GK in a garage in Wisconsin in the summer of 2007. It was just Prickle and Erin alone with a computer and some cool set ups. Unfortunately we lost all those tracks cause we forgot to name them, DOH! Felt is an homage to one of our all time favorite bands and the sadness of leaving a place you call home :( but informing the public that you have to be open to guests.

Black Skullz was written by GK during our Chicago summer in the haunted building in Bridgeport.The song recalls the deep trance memory of a Chicago childhood filled with bikers and cats.This really happened. The awesome choir was recorded off a high school friends keyboard during a really weird night in Burlington Illinois. The song was recorded at Boris Karloft where the live barks of black dog Dixie were captured.

THE FARM ALSO WRITTEN IN CHICAGO/WISCONSIN IS A GREAT LITTLE DITTY ABOUT LIVIN SOMEWHERE AND SOMEONE DECIDES TO INVITE CHARLIE MANSON OVER. RUH ROH! ITS THE FEELING YOU GET WHEN YOUR IN THE WOODS AND SOMEONE IS LIKE "HEY ED GEIN USED TO LIVE BEYOND THAT HILL YONDER" (TRUE STORY). AND YOU'RE LIKE RUH ROH AGAIN! THE FARM WAS RECORDED AT BORIS KARLOFT IN CHICAGO BY PRICKLE AND ERIN.
