Nies est l’alias créatif de Denise Pakes, fondatrice du label Rotate et cofondatrice de l’agence Rings of Neptune & kōrero. Originaire des Pays-Bas et ayant des racines moluquoises, Denise jongle entre Amsterdam, Paris et Berlin, s’engageant continuellement dans l’exploration musicale, les collaborations audiovisuelles avec des artistes partageant les mêmes idées et l’organisation d’événements ayant pour objectif l’activation culturelle. Paysages sonores chaleureux, textures étranges, atmosphères subtiles et lignes de basse larges - ses intentions musicales, que ce soit en tant qu’artiste sonore ou en tant que compositrice, sont claires : exciter les auditeurs, s’écouler organiquement, étirer le temps et plier l’espace dans une harmonie pure.

Nies is the creative alias of Denise Pakes, the founder of the Rotate label and co-founder of the Rings of Neptune & kōrero agency. Originally from the Netherlands with Moluccan roots, Denise juggles between Amsterdam, Paris and Berlin, continually engaging in musical exploration, audiovisual collaborations with like-minded artists and organising events with the aim of cultural activation. Warm soundscapes, strange textures, subtle atmospheres and broad bass lines - her musical intentions, whether as a sound artist or as a composer, are clear: to excite listeners, to flow organically, to stretch time and fold space into pure harmony.

Anatolian Weapons, the alias of Aggelos Baltas, stands at the forefront of Greek electronic music. The release 'Beyond' is intentionally crafted for the dancefloor, featuring a collection of obscure techno tracks with a few unexpected twists.

Following the release of Aggelos Baltas’ long-awaited second album under the alias Anatolian Weapons last autumn, he is now back with a collection of obscure dancefloor cuts. In his characteristic manner, Baltas weaves hypnotic melodies with driving beats, transporting dancers beyond thought and rationality into a liminal space outside themselves.

As a DJ and driving force behind many projects in Zurich, Nive has repeatedly showcased her distinct sense of contemporary club and music culture. Drawing on her Tamil background and former training in Carnatic music, Nive weaves a unique soundscape in her sets, moving effortlessly between different influences and tempi. Currently she is active at the record label @subject-to-restrictions and has co-founded Sooriyan, a platform celebrating South Asian creativity within the electronic music industry.

Garçon Gaston was born on the coast of the Ukranian-Azov sea and is now living at Berlin. His eclectic approach to setting up storytelling developed through time, combining listening and danceable elements.

He has been collecting and playing music for more than a decade. Mystic, dark and sometimes funny (meant with a wink), his record collection ranges from Slacid, Leftfield-Disco, Kraut, and Wave to Electro and Trance.

For the last five years, he is also running the underground event series "Obscure Obsession" in Berlin. Trying to connect music-lovers with hidden corners of the scene while showcasing his selection alongside some of the nastiest "cable cutters" of the underground. "Crooked Jack", "Wicked Wave", and "Dirty Disco" guaranteed!
