Undertow is an original song that tells a story by making an analogy between being taken away by a surprising, frightening ocean undertow and being wonderfully saved by a surprising, relentless love. This is another project that started with a simple live recording that Nat then fashioned into a more polished final outcome.

This playful undertow

My will ceased to resist it

Pulled down deep into the foam
A calmness overcame me
With the feeling I was home

Perhaps I’d met my end

I knew at once God wrote it
