Truth Changes

The King Arthur legends are closely associated with May. Arthur is sometimes known as the May King (his coronation was May 1st) and Gwalchmei (Gawain) is the Hawk of May as Gwalchaved (Galahad) is the Hawk of Summer. Mordred - Arthur's shadow, the winter king, was born on May 1st (Beltane). Gwenhwyfar is Arthur's May Queen and the Grail Maiden brings in the May when she manages to enchant and become pregnant by Sir Lancelot ( a derivative of Llugh, the Celtic god of Light and fertility)

One of the paradoxes of the King Arthur legends (which thrillingly combine Christian mysticism with an older Celtic mythology) is that Lancelot's infidelity with the Grail Maiden (magically disguised as Guinevere) in quest of the Holy Grail conceives the Grail Finder. When Galahad comes of age he replaces his father as the Best Knight, finds the Grail and the Wasteland becomes fruitful again.

This tale of tragic adultery (and in thought at least also an infidelity to the King by his most faithful captain Lancelot) is brought to you by an old faithful married couple. But Lancelot and Guinevere and courtly love in general, may be enjoyed as myths of true marriage: the lifelong quest by each partner truly to find the other.

Dear friends - Chlorophyll is also our friend - it absorbs carbon dioxide and uses sunlight to make wood. Scientists are increasingly emphasizing the importance of preserving the greenery on Earth. Trees also provide shade, coolness and retain moisture in the soil. Trees are the climate's friend! At the same time, I would like to tell you what my grandfather taught me: chew each bite at least ten times so you don't get fat and have no stomach problems - and - save on electricity!!

Quietly the river flows under the green embrace 
of the willow trees whose leaves are moving with the wind
and birds like to catch all the flies swarming around here
and under the trees a lot of children have
gathered here to learn
all to know about our nature

They all lose their breath when they see the greenery
over the stream that sparkles by the morning sun
they enjoy their life and they can’t understand why
that not everyone are able to see this 
wonderful show
that are created for all of us

And they listen to the words given from their teacher
that say how it is when everything is falling down
how nature react - during the years that lie ahead of us 
it is magical how - nature swallow all the
carbon dioxide 
that we people have let out in the world
It is a magical sight to see these green leaves here

A Moment That Carries

I think this might be my best track - best song, best performance. 
It's about coming home to safety, but in the song I'm actually visualising getting to a campsite with my friends and making pizza...but that cosy picture becomes more of a spiritual homecoming. 
I wrote it around an Indian Raga- the music came from playing an Indian Raga badly but it turned into something else.

‘Why’ is the sixth studio quality Grey Hounds song to be released, this one delves into the meaning of life. A small percentage of people know exactly what they’re doing here and are getting on with it. The rest of us spend lives wondering around aimlessly hoping to crack the enigma of life. Who’d have thought choosing a cover for this song would be so much fun, the ‘Y’ fronts came up trumps of course.
We're a bunch of grey-haired old men having fun writing our own songs and wishing we'd done it 40 years earlier!! The plan is to write and release an album of songs in the coming year or so, then build the courage to go out and play them live in front of real audiences.
