When I first started dj'ing I used to record everything I did on cassettes, either to listen to in the car(cassette deck) or hand out to friends... not being too bothered about shoddy mixing/dodgy levels/random tune selection but always including classic trance, techno & HH bangers. The first 50ish were terrible at best, but think I did over 100 tapes before buying a cd recorder.
