The Bells of Aberdovey

This is a piece I recorded a while back for my grade 5 ABRSM. It was written by Jeffrey Mayhew and was dedicated to the Garner family. It is part of the 'People and Places' series and was composed in an attic room in Fiskars, looking over the frozen winter landscape. I recorded it in 2015 on my Lyon and Healy Troubadour.

An Irish slow air which is one of the most popular compositions of blind Irish harper Turlough O'Carolan (1670-1738). The flute part was played using a VST.
