"Det har været en fantastisk lærerig proces, sådan at oversætte kemiske regler og fænomener til musikkens ditto. 
Alle rytmer er direkte oversættelser af den måde elektroner fylder atom-skaller på. Helt basic forklaret, så repræsenterer hver atom-skal en lyd, antallet af elektroner i bemeldte skal bestemmer hvor mange gange lyden skal trigges per takt, og Paulis eksklusionsprincip bestemmer hvor slagene skal ligge i forhold til hinanden.

Værket som helhed er en lang gennemspilning af det periodiske system med fire takter af hvert atom, fra hydrogens ene elektron/slag per takt til Oganessons imponerende 118 elektroner/slag per takt. En kontinuerligt voksende kompleksitet, der intuitivt illustrerer atomers fascinerende urværk."
