Really nice track, I especially like the basic melody! Does its job :)

At the party I was disappointed by this part: it grows and grows, but then, after the break nothing happens, when you'd expect some massive vibe to kick in.

At the risk of starting some scenedrama, it's funny to read wayfinder's earlier comment, because if asked to describe this, I would say "sounds like wayfinder if he grew a pair."

Executable music entry for Revision 2011, which it eventually won. About 27k including everything, most of it being the movie sample which you probably can't make out unfortunately.

This track was a tricky one to do - I had to go against a lot of my preconceptions of how or why should I make music, and ultimately a lot of the credit must go to http://soundcloud.com/dshmusic for reassuring me in the last minute that I really should just follow my instinct and go ahead with whatever I feel like adding to the tune, instead of being held back by preconceived ideas.

All in all I think this is one of my favorite tracks of what I've done.

This was done in a very short time but it was all the more fun and challenge to work on this - the brief was "slightly retro, uplifting, slowish", so I tried to make it sound like a bit of an 80s sci-fi movie endscroller track. Despite some serious micromanagement to fit the future visuals, I'm very very happy with the end result.

I did this tune back in 2000 with hardware synths but never released it because it was so badly mixed. I converted it from Sonar to Cubase and made it to use only VST instruments. The end part mix is still a bit off as the final mix ended up being done during the night in a rush.
