I stumbled on this Ember Island cover of the Jack Ü/Bieber collab "Where Are Ü Now" and fell in love instantly. I've been experimenting with some different rhythmic formats and different instrumental styles that incorporated some more organic drumming and basslines with more "synthetic" stuff and when this fell on my lap I thought it made perfect sense to take some of the more uplifting, organic material I had written and put it together with this really vulnerable, personal vocal cut from them. It's intended for moments on a train or a bus where you forget where you are for a sec and you think back to something that happened 5 years ago.

Unconfirmed (Confirmed at Castaway festival QLD) and now released, this What So Not remix of the nostalgic record 'Innerbloom', by three wise men known as RÜFÜS, will turn your frown upside down and then downside up when you realise it's only a live recording rip. Then the drop will hit and you'll probably do flips anyway but your lips in relativity to your head will take the shape of an upwards smile. Then it ends but that's okay, just re-hit play.
