Biography: 
Boreal Taiga’s unique dub techno, dub ambient sound began realization in 2000. Signed to Tehnofonika Records in 2014, as BT Gate X-138. Exploring dub techno and dub ambient sounds while creating unique deep spaces of dub bass, beats and a touch of ambient. BT Gate X-138 is especially interested in exploration of field recordings from public spaces to nature’s environments.

Albums and tracks released on various labels such as Tehnofonika Records, Greyscale, spclnch, Apnea, Space Of Variants, [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], Agape & Satori, ODrex Music, and the wonderful world of hello▼strange. A variety of sounds and styles revolving around the dub techno and ambient realms brings forth new ideas in sound construction. As this evolution continues, the process is less about work, but a love to create. The outcome is not about entertainment but a focus on creating a deep and immersive sound.

With experience in music production, DJing and art agitation, BT Gate X-138 continues to build a future of sound.

BT Gate X-138 has the goal of deep immersion with nature and stark urban realms. Using dub techno and dub ambient as the delivery method, the music is for driving or chilling out. We are not politically interested in states. We know what’s correct and wrong. We are interested in the natural and man made beauty within the northern hemisphere.

Bardia's musical style, evident in both his DJ performances and music productions, is marked by a unique dark, dub-influenced sound that merges house and techno elements. The music captures the raw energy of club culture, delivering a deep and immersive experience for those who seek a more profound connection with sound, continually evolving his artistic approach to electronic music.

Electronic Music producer Vytis is a talented Artist, Dj originated from small Military town in Lithuania. He used to spend his time exploring wild and engage with extreme activities such as downhill skiing. At the age of 16 he relocated to Ireland where he found his passion for Dub Techno and Ambient Sounds. Born on December 11, 1988 to this day, he is still writing new tracks and has evolved as the golden musician and entertainer. I’ve been following Mahorka’s releases since the very beginning of the label - which means for more than 20 years now! When I received the invitation to record a special mix for their Planck Tone series, I already knew I wanted to use only music selected from their nearly 500 releases. That turned out to be anything but easy. Although I had some long-time favorites, I also wanted to include tracks that were completely new to me. It took me much more time than I expected, but I’m super happy with the result - even though I still ended up leaving out a lot of great music.

On this episode of Intent Interviews, I had the pleasure of speaking with Tommy Harrison (a.k.a. Asphalt Layer) and Wilson Logan. Together, they are Quadrant Soundscape.  

Quadrant Soundscape is a collaboration of two people with a profound love for the art of DJing, digging, selecting, and sharing music with the community. Together, Tommy and Wilson have built the premier mix series in the genre with their Dub Explorations mixes. Last year, they launched The Frontier, which features the biggest name in dub techno.  They also have a series called the Quadrasphere, which is an outlet for dub techno DJs to play other styles of music that inspire them.

Throughout the conversation, we discussed the journey they’ve been on to get to this point. We also discussed how they approach sets and mixes, and their love of finding and sharing new music.

Following on from his excellent, inspirational guest appearance at the Avenue Red event @ SUPERMASSIVE here in his native Manchester back in September, we are now very proud to present his debut on the main podcast series. A true veteran of production, DJing, running slick record labels started back quarter of a century ago etc... this set shows you what you need to know, enter Al Bradley!

"This is a mix made up entirely of recent and forthcoming tracks & remixes by me. I have intentionally not added a tracklist as some of these are exclusive and I might get done, ha! Hopefully it gives a bit of an insight into my inability to stick to one style, which I'm never too sure is a positive or negative thing.

Either way, I think it reflects the way I also work in terms of DJing, as I cover a fair mixture of tempos & sounds generally, especially doing 7-hour sets with Steve Lipscombe under our Precinct guise at The 212 Café & Bar in Leeds.

Biography: 
Formerly known as a techno DJ/producer and co-founder of Underground Noise Records — the first Uruguayan label fully focused on techno — he began his musical journey under the aliases Raptor K, Unbekannt, and others, releasing EPs, albums, and remixes on labels across South America, the USA, Europe, and Japan. In 2010, he introduced the moniker FloorFan, taking a more minimalist, dub-techno-oriented approach. After a six-year hiatus, he returned in 2023 with Horizons, his comeback EP, and has since released music on respected labels, with his work featured on podcasts and in clubs like Globus at Berlin’s legendary Tresor. Nevertheless, he likes to define himself as "just another fish in the ocean of electronic music."
