The fine folks of Funky Town invited me back in 2022 to play some tunes on their brand new DJ booth.  For the first Burning Man in 3 years I focused on music that would bring people together, put smiles on their faces, and get them moving.  This was played on Monday later afternoon into pre-sunset, and you can almost picture  the people cruising by on bikes, trikes, and art cars.

I ended up playing longer than expected to fill in for my buddy @nick-stene which gave me a chance to play a bunch of my brand new tracks and also dip into some of my recent classics.  This is the only recording I managed to get from my 3 sets on playa this year so it's great I was able to get through a bunch of tracks.

Here is a three hour set recorded for the trip to Further Future - a three day event held outside of Las Vegas by the Robot Heart crew. The event was outstanding: great music, vibe, food, people, etc. Big love to all the new and old friends that got to share the experience of Future Future. All that aside, this mix is a journey through deep and soulful house.

This is a live set recorded at the Stepka Manor a few weeks before Burning Man. As always, it's a deep house set with beautiful melodies, big basslines and a ton of vocals.

After a surreal seven hour sound bath journey, we awoke transformed to a sunny Sunday in the beautiful hills of Hollywood.  Still basking in the prior evening's events, we came together poolside enjoying each others company while we frolicked in the waters...

We listened to music mostly from our youth, happy music with heavy 80's influence & some of our sound bath tunes mixed in.  Laugher & Love filled the air...
 
The memories of Mannix Drive will always be in our hearts and minds - what a special way to bring closure to such an incredible home.

Garrettson Streit is an up and coming DJ and producer in the Denver House and Techno music scene. He is a member of the Denver based DJ collective Split Second. 

Pulling influences from his life long musical journey, Garrett sets a vibe that spans melodic and dreamy, driving groovy basslines, and heart opening techy progressive soundscapes that get you moving. He’s performed at some of Denver’s top night clubs, on top of art cars at Burning Man, and renegade underground parties along side artists such as Random Rab, Shimza, David Hohme, N2N, Desert Dwellers, Dreamers Delight, and Andy Immerman.

A therapist by day, Garrett knows the importance of connection, movement, and community. He is moved by the ancient ritual of uniting people with music to express, feel, and celebrate life. He aims to invite people more deeply into their wholeness through sonic journeys on the dance floor.
