I've been wanting to cover this for awhile, along with a lot of the songs from Old Tunes and R35TT
I played all the synth parts with my analog Yamaha CS reface, which is pretty neat, because I believe I read somewhere, that BOC have used the old Yamaha CS. I think the one I have is essentially the same sounds with a new look (?)

I intend to make all these covers available for free download, but I have to figure out the legality of that; advice is welcome.

Everything here is mostly unfinished, although I'm more content with some songs than others. I compiled the best current drafts of my more developed songs of 2020, and put them together as a tracklist that's meant to flow like an album.

Much of the production here is admittedly pretty amateur, since I've been learning, through much trial and error, how to produce/mix music independently from home. But there's a lot of substance here, too, I think; a lot of melody; some palpable moods, and it's all honest expression; none of these songs attempt to conform to any standard. It's all on an experimental, go with the flow basis. Making beats is also something I'm new to, and one of the more challenging parts to mix, but there's signs of improvement. I like the way the drums in "Home With You" sound. Conversely, the drums in "Impermanence" need a lot more work (should sound more subtle) as with a lot of the songs, but there's such a vibe in that song. "Impermanence", and "Hope in Flames" were written to have singing.

Some, or maybe all of these tunes will get re-released at some point; either on different albums, or a reworking of this collection. Some of the titles, like "Spooky Lullaby" were just lighthearted nicknames; others, like "Deciduous Dream" have a real meaning. As amateur as this debut might be, I have the means and the know-how to work all of these to their real potential. It's just a matter of time to do it all.  Time that feels like it's constantly fleeting, as I make a living through exploitative retail, like a lot of us, "human capital" have to. I wanted to wait until these were fully finished before a release like this, but we're never promised another day on this Earth, and that's never felt more real than in 2020.

As of now, everything I upload is a work in progress, and will be replaced, as I develop my pieces more. 

A guitarist from the age of 11, who finally buckled down to start writing some complete stuff. A year ago, I decided I was going to bypass relying on a band to produce music, and set out to make it all msyelf, from home. It's been a learning process, picking up beat making, producing, playing keyboards, getting more into the bass, learning more about music theory..etc. But I'm starting to make some stuff I'm happy with, and I'm still working to keep improving as an amateur producer.
