This past spring, we were delighted to present the debut Silk Music EP by acclaimed Iranian artist Masoud, featuring fellow Silk newcomer Tara Louise on vocals. Their beautiful vocal house collaborations, "My Dreams" and "Goodbye," have now been remixed by two extraordinary label veterans: Vintage & Morelli (Serbia) and meHiLove (Ukraine).

Vintage & Morelli is in the midst of a banner year, highlighted by his recent "My Rose Enchanted Destiny" album release, as well as a pair of releases on the esteemed Anjunabeats imprint. His inspired take reimagines "My Dreams" as a peak-hour progressive house anthem. A stormy and trance-influenced lead chord progression soars above a buoyant bassline, while a mellifluous Balearic guitar motif further enhances the soundscape. Meanwhile, Tara's vocal, the primary lead element, once again captivates the listener: her emotional delivery is only accentuated by Vintage & Morelli's exhilarating instrumentation. For those more inclined toward vocal-less electronica, Vintage & Morelli has contributed a "Dub Mix" as well.

meHiLove, acclaimed Silk veteran and former "Both" Remix Contest winner, centers his interpretation of "Goodbye" on a more traditional progressive house groove. As the track progresses, a variety of gorgeous melodic effects join Tara's memorable vocal. A relatively subdued breakdown showcases these many stunning themes, which are equal parts ethereal and cathartic. meHiLove has also provided a "Dub Mix" to round out the release.

September sees Myon renew a studio relationship first formed in 2014 with his debut co-production with the US Late Night Alumni collective. 
Tonally and thematically ‘Hearts &amp; Silence’ picks up where ‘Under Your Cloud’ left off. It again underscores the brilliant, near-alchemic triangulation between Myon’s clubbier, more driving studio
instincts, L.N.A.’s cooler housier, elements and the quiet persuasion of singer Becky Jean Williams’ empathetic,
affecting vocals.
On the club mix Myon‘s techier contours and more electro-lining FX light the track’s touch-paper. Against its
riding percussion lines and elegiacally bleeping intro melody, collectively they instil a lament-filled emotive to its
early minutes.
As sensitively written as they are deeply moving, Becky’s ‘Hearts &amp; Silence’ lyrics and vocal put the brilliance of
her from-the-heart songwriting into sharpest possible focus. As the track moves towards the drop, those more
wistful vocal accents fade, replaced - in feel and tone - with first hope, and then belief.
Though their music Myon and L.N.A. skilfully shadow this transition. With evermore uplifting elements –
orchestral strings, seaside atmospherics and beautifully crafted/strikingly elevating synths all supporting the shift,
it swells to its heartening, enriching post-break conclusion. Classy, organic music making at its absolute finest.

Myon & Late Night Alumni - Hearts & Silence (Myon Club Mix) [Ride]

English English meets American English in the dynamic dance music duo that hit the scene with full force in 2011.

In 2011, Garrido &amp; Skehan released several huge tracks to wide DJ acclaim, including 'Miami at Midnight', 'Changing Places', and 'Skywalkers' a collaboration with artists Majai.  In 2012, they opened with the vocal smasher "Waiting For You" and have a long list of big releases in the works!  Stay tuned...

The duo is made up of Christopher Garrido and Jamie Skehan. The two met online back in 2009 and their first collaboration ‘Hold On’ was signed to Bonzai Digital along with two other smashing tracks including their dance floor smasher ‘Wasting Time’.

Cuban American Christopher Garrido (aka C-Gar) has been producing dance music since 2002. His productions skills combined with hard progressive style drums and bass provide the foundation of the Garrido &amp; Skehan sounds.

Englishman Jamie Skehan brings a fresh perspective to the G&amp;S sound. His raw musical talent and keen production ear provide some of the best melodies and uplifting feelings heard in the dance scene today.
