This is a remix/mashup I created pairing some of my favourite Jem tracks with other Outrageous 80s anthems, plus some modern Freemasons thrown in for good measure!

"Hands On Me" is from Samantha Newark's fabulous pop-electronic album "Somethin' Good" and I wanted to do a dance remix for the track. I found that Almighty's hi-nrg cover of Kylie Minogue's 2 Hearts fit well with the sassy spunk of "Hands", and so my mashup was born! Tried to make this a stomping club anthem propelled by Ellen Bernfeld's sassy trade offs with Britta Phillips. I loved Bad Influence as a kid, and was shocked it seemed to mesh well with a remix of Beautiful Stranger!

This one turned my brain sideways! The Bangles' Hazy Shade of Winter has always had an intense dark edge to it, so combining it with The Stingers' self absorbed manipulations was a perfect match! It's a double mash with Jem mixed in as a "voice of reason" in contrast to Riot's goals.
