Over fifteen years since the launch of SVT, August 2021 will see us celebrate an important milestone with the release of our 300th instalment. For the occasion, we gathered the most solid cast of fellow music partners, either old chaps or new faces to the label’s far-reaching catalogue of sound. Covering the widest spectrum, from purely floor-dedicated weaponry to off-piste meanderings, through hybrid explorations and hi-velocity momentums, this triple package pledges to exhibit our stance and direction as a witness of our - musical - era.

Clocking in at first position on the triad’s debut volume, label habitué Sam Shure serves up a hi-pressure, Middle-Eastern-flavoured club epic for the opener. Oozing a strong mix of frankincense, myrrh and thick-boned EBM-friendly punch, the track reels out as a hypnotic fractal tailored to catch everyone in its sticky web of bass-heavy gimmicks. Back after their debut LP, “Symbiosis”, released earlier this year on SVT, Buenos-Aires outfit Brigado Crew joins forces with Ubbah on a monster vocodized chugger headed for outer space.

SKALA follows up with the deeply atmospheric “Voices of Eqi”, a track merging brooding spectrality, obsessive synth hooks and truly pumping dynamics. Longtime friends and collaborators Hidden Empire contribute a slice of their instrumentally rich and nuanced buildups with the hair-raising “Baba Ghanoush”, whilst Arnas D & Lake Avalon treat us to a feverish roller-coaster of a tune with the earwormy “Cordial”, all in muscular bass arpeggios, pop-infused vocals and nostalgia-drenched melodic counterpoints. 

Shifting the scope towards more syncopated material, Aurka’s “Pyrolisis” sends us off into upper spheres of consciousness with a sensitive melange of keen distortions a la James Holden and Border Community fam alike, and further spacious, non-formulaic minimalism. A straight-out club-focused affair, Henri Bergmann’s "Mercura” aims for nothing but to trigger utter communicative ecstasy amongst ravers and dreamers, whereas the opening episode’s closer “Deion”, courtesy of Boy Next Door, cranks up the speed a notch further with its fast-hitting deployment of stadium-sized synth lines and end-to-end hectic, yet erogenous crescendo.

Juicebox Music's 72nd release welcomes two Argentinians - Nicolas Leonelli & Juan Buitrago with their collaborative 2-track EP featuring "Sword of God" & "Exlium". Relatively new with around 4 years under their production belt, both Nicolas & Juan have had their music represented by some of the finest imprints around, namely Nick Warren's 'The Soundgarden' & Mango's 'Mango Alley', earning incredible support around the world. Joining forces for their first joint effort, Nicolas Leonelli & Juan Buitrago showcased their strengths in a pair of strong groove-centric tracks with complimenting moods, "Sword of God" portraying a darker & heavier tone with a tinge of hope while "Exilium" depicts a lighter & hypnotic picture. 

Making his label debut with New Delhi (India) based newcomer - Influence. Better known to his friends and family as Tej Singh, Influence catapulted into the scene in 2021 with a barrage of high-quality productions that was hard to miss, earning him releases on MoodFreak & Mike Koglin's 'YOMO', Francesco Pico's 'Magnitude' & Fonarev's 'Digital Emotions' in such a short time-span. Influence takes on a driving approach with a reimagined mood for his remix of Nicolas Leonelli & Juan Buitrago's "Sword of God". 

After his debut 'Sahura / Ramses' EP on our imprint in 2022, Cordoba (Argentina) based Claudio Cornejo makes his return for his first remix with us. Known as one half of the mighty Analog Jungs, Claudio Cornejo's solo project allows him to express his creativity & technicality without any border. His discography boasts of associations with labels such as DJ Zombi's 'Beat Boutique', Juan Pablo Torrez' 'Clubsonica', Mango's 'Mango Alley' and Antrim's 'Or Two Strangers' to name a few. Claudio Cornejo's remix of Nicolas Leonelli & Juan Buitrago's "Exlium" pays homage to the original mood while injecting a club-focused direction.

Avision, the electrifying DJ and music producer from the United States, has become a formidable force in the world of electronic dance music. Having made a big impact with his debut album, 2022’s ‘In My Mind’ long player for Maceo Plex’s Ellum, the New Jersey based artist has consistently served up intoxicating and energetic club tracks for a range of influential labels across the spectrum of techno including Ben Sim’s now legendary Hardgroove imprint.

Ever in search of an even-better environment to make music in, Joris Voorn has been hard at work this year constructing a new studio space near his home in Amsterdam. Having only very recently been completed, Joris immediately went to add the finishing touches on his next single in his new natural habitat. 'Genova' is the result, and its been well worth the wait.

A nagging techy beat with a funky undertone drives this infectious track, with monotone synth rhythms subtly rising from the depths to create tense pressure. Moments of teasing intensity increase the drama, before a beautiful arpeggiated melody unfolds and with it brings a sorrowful chord progression. The bass follows in tandem as we head towards a sparse breakdown which strips things down to the bare minimum. A lengthy snare build recalls classic trance as the synths pulse and swell, with a hooky vocal snippet announcing the drop. After some more of that juicy groove, an extended ambient outro provides an atmospheric, heavenly ending.

'Genova' has been heavily road-tested by Joris, featuring in all his sets over the summer and it has received huge reactions whenever played. It seems like his new studio has added a touch of magic to it, and we can all look forward to much more material coming out of it very soon indeed.
